OK, so I finally have it , and here are some pics of it how I purchased it. it is on a jig right now having some floor pans put in , new front wings, rear arches rs2000, it has a 2.3 pinto in it and that is also out being overhauled, ill post some of her finished when im done should be middle of march ish

Hi all as you have probably gathered I have just joined, I have recently purchased a mk1 escort which I am really excited about. this is the second mk1 I have owned the first was when I was 17" VGJ414M" 1300E, funny how you can remember your first cars reg. not really sure what I have just purchased due to the log book reading RS2000 but im sure it is not , car reg " UPF908M". anyway it is under going restoration at the moment and im counting down the days until I can drive it , if all goes to plan it should be ready middle of March. as I have said I owned my first mk1 back when I was 17 it ended up Daytona yellow and I lived in London at the time so Chelsea cruise, crystal palace and Sutton were the haunts that I used to visit now I live in the west midlands and I am sure there are meets going on somewhere so if anybody reads this post then I would appreciate some info regarding where to find them. one last thing I am looking for a set of quarter bumpers in good nick for my project also 2/4 cibie oscars thanks Barry
