I am sitting here wondering how much to lower my mk1 escort 1" or 2", would anyone mind posting some pictures of your mk1 escorts that have been lowered 1" or 2" with some pros and cons for both .. I would be very interested to see and read your comments, as i need to buy some lowering blocks and front springs. mine will have 13" wheels and not sure of tyres yet but im thinking that i might go with a set of quite low profiles. can anyone help??? cheers guys

Vista , that particular platform is held by piles that are first driven into the seabed then we land the top side on, but yes there are floating platforms. We carry ROV`s too pretty cool little subs and capable of so much. we also have an air dive spread and SAT" Saturation diving "system for the moor deeper work. although a different Vessel altogether from the super yachts believe it or not the PJW runs into the 100s of millions to build and costs a good few million to hire she is one of the larger Derrick Barges in the world capable of lifting 3000ton . ha ha how the other half live eh....

We are off to Chile first, a place called Punta Arenas to de-mob and crew change , load up with materials then to down South of the Falklands to install a jacket and topsides and lay a 70 km 32 inch pipe line. we are off 160 Nm off the East coast of Argentina heading South as I speak the we will cut through the Magellan straits across to Punta Arenas. it will be quite an interesting project for us as it will be the southernmost platform ever installed, what with the high winds and seas and of course cold weather it should be quite challenging. I work for a Singapore based company and normally we service the oil fields of S/E Asia and some times the Middle East. mmmmm think this will be a different climate though ha ha . Vista , must have been great getting to look down over the Falklands getting buzzed by the Tornados. great good on ya....

I work offshore on a derrick/pipe lay barge installing oil platforms and laying oil pipe lines for the oil industry! hence why most of the work being done on my Escort is being done by others, not ideal i know but if i was to do it myself god knows when it would get finished ha ha

Spending Christmas at sea around the Falkland island area freezing cold, dreaming of family and the other dream in my life, to get this project finished ......... work work work............

Hi I was wondering if you guys had a full wiring loom for a mk1 escort it has a 2ltr pinto in it or will have. but I was thinking of re-wiring the whole car because lots of wires have been added over the years and wanted to clear it up, the car has been totally stripped so the old loom is out . or would you know of anybody that may be able to sort out the old one for me replace damaged wires take out what is not needed? thanks for listening Barry
