zetec engines are fairly cheap .but conversion kits look expensive.

Hi . my name is Windsor aged -- pleased to find this site .about to buy a mk1 escort as a new project iv'e owned loads of fords over the years 3x rs 2000 droop snoot 2x mk 2 lotus cortinas 3x capri 3000. including a 3000 glx none of them more than 3 years old at the time of ownership. the mk escort i'm considering is a 2 door 1.3 shell stripped made good bubble arched and repainted green mexico stripes 4 years ago .fitted with a 1600 crossflow which in time will be replaced with a 2 lt pinto . it also has an rs loogbook . has 13 inch minilite copys that look a bit small for the arches. thanks for reading my post Windsor
