    two lengths of 12 or 16 mm threaded bar through the holes in halfshaft flange with nuts and penny washers on inside threaded bar butted up against backing plate turn nuts anticlockwise in turn , and they should push shaft out.

    Check in out play in halfshaft .i had this problem bearing had moved slightly on shaft .

    I did the same , like to share mine with the peeps and put a smile on there faces Had to give it a good wash off, and fresh water spray the underside before it went back in the garage though. agree roll on the spring..

    Testing the water while engine is still in car and can be heard running. removing to fit a 1700 xflow, straight after the hols. would consider a swap for front coilovers escort mk 1 four pot front brake caliper kit ie wilwood to fit under 13" wheels. or consider offers.

    has anyone got a tandem brake master cylinder in good working order for a mk 1 escort ,to fit on to the servo tower . i have i think a mk2 cortina one which is longer and stops the tower being droped down to fit 40s. thanks
