Mine was registered August 1975 so another year to wait, although it's in a million pieces at the moment so might be able to get away with 6 months tax and then SORN for the balance to get through to next April Still better than driving one of those silly electric cars to be tax free

Hi, I'm a few months into restoring my 4 door MK3 Cortina and have just discovered this website I'm just about resigned to the fact that I'm not going to be able to source replacement rear wheel tubs / wheel houses unless someone knows otherwise? Looks like I'll be trying to rebuild the crusty ones on the car. Many thanks.

We need to get rid of the old buffoons, they are like embarrassing uncles trying to be young and cool. Just need a few simple car tests and then have a few features like proper drivers competing head to head in other's disciplines (Cal Crutchlow in a car versus Lewis on a bike etc), also did anyone see that programme 'King of speed' with Idris Elba? He is well into motors and is pretty handy behind the wheel as well

Hi, Just thought I'd say hello, I'm in the middle of restoring a 1975 MK3 Cortina (I'll post some pictures soon) and I like most things with an engine (got 3 cars and 5 motorbikes at the moment!). Hopefully the Cortina will be finished this summer and I can get out and about to a few breakfast clubs etc. Cheers.
