Iv finaly put my mk1 in the garage after about 2 or 3 years. Im after some insperation on what style I want. I love the south london and malta look Also i will be runing 300bhp ish so might go big arches but bubbles are to common. But could anything look as good? Can people put up some pics for insperation.

Im building a group 1 mk1 escort touring car at work and would like any info or spec for the car. Its an rs2000 and wont be having bubble arches. Any pictures from period would be cool. Thanks.

Its in a different place now. Its at rushmoor arena. The track is similar to the old track caus they tryed to get one corner tighter than the other just like the old track. The new track is very fast and has solid steal plate around the outside with a 4 foot concrete wall. (i wouldnt want to hit that at race speed) Allthoe it is more forgiving than the wires at the old track and wimbledon etc.

Hi all. Did anyone go to aldershot to watch the old hotrods? It was an ace meeting. Not as many cars as i hoped but was awsome to see the escorts and anglias racing round. I got a video clip on my fone which i will put up soon. Did anyone else get any good snaps?

I heard on the radio earlier that the classic hotrods will be racing this sunday 9th. Will anyone be atending this event? I was also thinking if there were enuf people going we could get there early and have a nice selection of pereod cars in the car park.

Wessie a bit of the subject but were do you race? I didnt think the bumpers would would be a good idea but mk1s havent changed in years all be it for a good reason (thay got it raght the first time) Any takers on the chalange yet thoe?

Could someone put trailer arches on a mk1 escort The pic below is the type of arches i would like Posibly the bumpers but i think thay will look a bit pants I dont have pics of my escort so hopefuly u can find one apropriate

An idea a dit not so origanal but how about making trailor arches like oval racing hotrods? I no its posably a bit dificult but i wouldnt like to try it on a real mk1. A bit like my old starlet below

Ah yes mine done that. Try giving the end a slight tap on the end to oval it. Then tap gently bh in the hole.
