  2. Good afternoon everyone. Is anyone going to the Retro show at Santa Pod on Sunday June 17th? I see OSF are listed as one of the clubs going on the Retro Show website. I'm free that Sunday if there's space on the club stand for me and my Capri. Kind regards Bryn...

  13. Thankyou. I initially wanted a black one, but this blue/silver one came up for sale in 2006 at the right price and just I had to buy it. On the whole it's been a very good car to me. I've done 43,000 miles in 11 years and it's never let me down and it's never failed an MOT whilst in my ownership. The history file the car came with is also quite impressive. The car was originally sold new to the 'Bank of America' by a D & W Thomas, Capel Garage, Clydach, South Wales (hence the REP plate) but judging by the service history it appears to have spent most of it's first 20 years the south east near Croydon. The last owner prior to myself lived near Southampton. It would interesting if anyone on here knew the car prior to me acquiring it in 2006 as it's clearly been very well looked after. I plan to do some more shows and meets this year. Are there an Old Skool meets anywhere near Shropshire or are they usually much further south?
  14. Good evening everyone. Having read about Old Skool Ford in various magazines I reckoned it was about time a joined up. I'm based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and for the last 11 years I've owned this 1983 Capri 2.8i, having previously owned a 1986 1600 Laser and a MK5 2.3 Cortina Ghia way back when I was in my teens. My wife also owns a 2015 Fiesta ST as well. The Capri has attended various shows over the past 11 years plus several events at Ace Café. It even came first in the 2012 Mild to Wild event at the Capri Club H/Q at Badgers Hill, Evesham. Some of the photos you see here are from a retro themed wedding promotional photoshoot it was part of last weekend. The others I've taken over the past few years. Kind regards, Capriracer...
