well ive been trying to sell two cars for the past month or so and after speaking to countless people on the phone who have said "i will come down tomorrow with the cash" or " can you meet me at the train station thursday morning" then on the day they are menat to arrive i hear nothing when i try to ring there is no answer and if i text there is no reply ... if you dont want the car anymore because something else co mes up ./... King LET the seller know even if its a message im not coming anymore or a i cant make it today or i found something else its better then not replying and not answering the phone how King sad and pathetic are these people !

a few years ago now ... went out to the car dad tried to start it almost started made a strange grating nose and stopped ... he went oh that didnt sound good anyway by a process of elimination we came to the conclusion it was a snapped timing chain .. called the aa said we needed recovery young lad turned up took the keys and went to crank it over we said dont do that if it is the timing chain you will bend the valves he said nah m8 it wont be that they never go on these ... spent half an hour fiddling with things and cranking it over then said oh it might be the timing chain ... Bent every single valve badly and then when he did decide to put it on the recovery truck he managed to get the wire to rip through the front bumper ... soo we had a nice bill from the garage i think it was £1500 for the bumper and then £2700 for the engine work ... sent it straight to the aa and did manage to get them to pay about a year later and after about 14 phonecalls to the CEO

right well as Flying banana said that could be the problem or it could be an american keyboard and if you are using xp it could be a stupid little programme called stickykeys do you get other weird things happening ... and in the bottom right of the screen is there a strange little symbol that looks like iirc about 5 keys (next to the clock) if so try just holding down or tapping ctrl alt and shift untill it goesaway

i was extremely close to moving to hong kong with my parents about a year ago my mum got offered a job and we started looking for big apartments and rugby teams and even a boat as well ... and after we had all agonized about whether we would do it or not they didn't offer her as much money as she wanted to make the move so it ended up not happening but i was all set to go ... onwareds asnd upwasrds and if u dont like it u can come back but id say try it for atleast 6 months without the car put it in storage or something .... i know a few people who have gone ... some loved it and stayed others hated it and were basck in 6 months ... give it 6 months u will know after that !

well i got in from work tonight and my dad said "did you get my message" as soon as he said it i said to him who has died and he told me my rugby coach and friend died this morning and it hit me like a train but when my grandma died liast year it never really hit me .. but this has really hit me hard and im not ashamed to say reduced me to tears. the last thing he said to me was with you playing like that i want to see you int he first team next season and nomatter what i will get myself fit enough to play first team rugby and im not just going to do it for me im gonna do it for paul. im really upset , quite drunk and just needed to tell someone so i thought id tell lots of people all at the same time !

my dad is a teacher, he is also a head of department and joint head of another. say you have 12 different teaching classes each of about 30 kids say it takes 5 mins to mark each peice of homework from each kid .... and they do homework and hand it in on one of their 2 lessons in a week ... 360 bits of homework 2 mins each thats 12 hours of marking atleast as alot of peices will take longer then that to mark ... dad gets 3 lessons in a week at school when he is not teaching but that 9 hours of marking to do outside of school assuming he doesn thave to cover for a teacher being off ill ... then there are lesson plans probably takes 20 mins for each teaching group ... so thats another 4 hours ... so were on 13 hours of work to do at home once hes finished work and with kids staying behind lookign for helpp with coursework and having to go in early for departmental meetings he will leave for work at 7 each day and not get back till half 5 so thats longer then an average day at work (9-5) and theres still over 2 hours a night of work to do. Teachers work hard and some of the shit they have to put up with is unreal. now im not saying servicement and women shouldnt be getting a pay rise im saying maybe you should get more of an idea how hard teachers actually work before saying they dont deserve a pay rise. and no my dad is not a union member and no he didnt strike he was at work having to work harder to make up for the teachers that didnt show up

i find exactly the opposite m8 i i went from an e30 bmw 316 to a e34 520i and the insurance went down bigger car same age bigger engine ... lower premium ... and can get insurance for 860 on a 3.2 straight six jag but over 1000 is the cheapest quote i could get for a mk2 scort ...

hi guys , ive got all of july and all of august off college and im looking for something to do preferably labouring work and london or herts / beds would be preferable. any of you guys out there builders who might need a labourer ? ive done a fair bit of work before and my dad and i are building a house in ireland ive done Paving decking bricklaying digging foundations ... slate roofing painting + decorating ill work hard for good money but dont have any bits of paper signed by "the man" saying i know what im doing .. if anyone has anythign or knows of anything could they let me know please
