Vista, thats the kind of stuff i'm after thanks.
What are the figs for relativley standard motors then?
From the info you guys have posted, I take it the pinto is the most tuneable?
is it a road car or track?
If its a track car, you might want a lttle (1.5mm) of toe-out, you'll get a better turn in but sacrifice straight line stability, if its fast road, i'd go 1mm toe-in.
I know naff all about the V6 to be honest, I do know about the Cossie YB, I'd like to stick one of them in eventually.
I wanna learn about both though!! I've spent too long faffing about with cars with ECU's rather than proper engines.
Any recommended reading?
trying to decide wether to go for a 2.0 or a 2.8 Capper when the cossie's sold. Its gonna be my everyday car, so its gotta be drivable.
I love the sound of the 2.8 but i've never driven one
Whaddya think folks?
I'm just polishing off the last of my kronenburg, things are going blurry!
I dont get the luxury of the mrs being sparko though, shes just polished a bottle of ammaretto off!
They're Deflex, pretty good bushes by all accounts, but the finish is rough around the edges. I've got them on the cossie, got a full sierra set for £75!!
I'd phone them, the retail price probably isnt far off what the bids are up to.
Im not sure where that is?
It sounds good.
Past Birkenhead Fire Station, then floor it heading away from town, just brace yourself when you come to the lights!!! I've never had the balls to tonk it through, but I reckon I was in the air doing about 50!
