  1. Not one little bit interested in Chavtastic Mundanes, its fantastic its made from plastic Fiesta dull appliance type KAs It's a shame that Classic Ford are start to introduce dull junk FWD car more into its magazine, why don't they just drop the name classic rename it "CHAVS FORDS" magazine and offer a free Burberry baseball caps & stick CHAVTASTIC decals, baseball bats for those that subscribe 6 months to the Yuppie editor that's more interested making money than he is over preserving Classic Fords status of the magazine l that use to love and buy every month. Just see it now list of club meeting sites will wiped out by a list of McDonald sites with meetings every last Friday of the month to take on the Citroen Saxo & Peugeot 106 other FWD crapbox appliances. I hope somebody makes an App a bit Flight Radar a CHAV locater app that lets you know when there is a large gathering of CHAVMOBILES in an area like CHAVIE FORDS magazine once year bash somewhere near Santa Pod in a Chavtatic Walmart car park, so l can make sure that l am not within 100 miles of the event, preferably give me enough warning so l can be in Australia on holiday for a month. Just for the record l don't mind Fords RWD that carries all the punch like Sierra, Escort Cossie, even the new Focus AWD they are what l would call classics, the rest of the FWD only junk will be totally worthless not worth preserving, about interesting as collecting a duff microwave ovens. If CHAVMOBILES take over Classic Ford events, l think l will just end up selling my two bog standard Classic Fords that l have preserved for the last 16 years, let some reader of Classic CHAVs Ford magazine have them and destroy them smash them within a couple of years with some hideous mods you find in the magazine, with the proceeds l will buy a nice Classic v8 Stang and subscribe to 5.0L Mustang magazine or by a nice Classic GT40 when they come out. Its a shame Classic CHAV Fords magazine never went down the same route as TR, MG & Jaguar magazines had great reverence for bog standard models that were held in high esteem, went down the ENGINNER new bog standard parts rather than a million types of simpleton BOLT-ON rubbish you end up paying a fortune for only to find the company has gone bust you can no longer get those brake pads that only fit the specialised caliper , or that bit of the original part of structure you butchered ruined welding torch is rendered total useless when you need a replacement part as the mild to wild third party company went bust. It's not hard to see TR, MG & Jaguar club magazine still have a huge following membership that still subscribe to their magazines they went down the ENGINEER original parts keep them original route and Classic CHAV Fords magazine went down the make them look hideous destroy them with a welding torch a stupid third party mild to wild bold-on route, now they are left with no substance or readership for their magazine, so they want to change it CHAVs Monthly magazine suprise suprise.
  2. Once all this very dull FWD junk started appearing in Classic Ford l stopped buying the magazine. Had not missed a single issue since its conception. KA and Mondaneo belong in appliance white goods weekly along with Hoovers, Hotpoint tumble dryers & microwave ovens. Might as well do the Classic Ford National in a Costco or Curry's car park, l wont be going anymore KaSSSsss & MundanesSSSsss.

  5. Auto Express.... Ford Mustang is set for world debut A big slice of America is crossing the Atlantic: the Mustang is heading to UK showrooms, Auto Express can reveal. To coincide with the muscle car’s 50th anniversary in 2014, Ford will launch it across the world, and in right-hand drive for the first time. Sources have revealed that dealers are being told to prepare for its arrival. The newcomer will sit at the top of the range alongside regular models such as the Fiesta and Focus in dealerships. It will be the most European-friendly version of the coupé ever – but will still be a proper Mustang, with V8s for the fastest models. The company’s ‘One Ford’ strategy is behind the Mustang’s migration. To cut costs and reduce the number of models (and platforms) the firm makes globally, the all-new model will be a ‘world car’, sold in different markets virtually unchanged. The Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo already follow this approach, and it means there is a business case for producing right-hand-drive Mustangs in the States and shipping them to Europe. But the UK won’t be the only right-hand-drive market the car is offered in; Australia and Japan will take the car, too. An insider revealed: “The design studios in Europe and Australia are working on it, as well as those in America. It will be smaller and closer in spirit to the original 1964 Mustang.” Our illustrations give you a good idea of how the new ‘pony’ car will look. It’s leaner and ever so slightly smaller, but still very mean, and packs all the visual aggression for which the legendary model has been famous. This includes recessed headlamps, a traditional C-pillar and triple lens tail-lights. Yet while it harks back to Sixties Mustangs, the new car will be the most technically advanced version ever. It will be far lighter than the current model, for improved fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions. Plus, for the first time, it’s set to feature independent rear suspension. As on the Chevrolet Camaro, this set-up replaces the decades-old live rear axle of the current car, and should mean better ride comfort and traction. Power will come from a new 2.5-litre four-cylinder EcoBoost turbo with around 300bhp, while a range-topping 500bhp 5.4-litre V8 will be available, too. Six-speed manual and auto transmissions are likely to be offered with torque vectoring to keep the performance in check, while the handling is expected to be tuned by Jost Capito and his team at Ford’s Global Performance Vehicles arm. As well as upping quality under the skin, Ford will have to pay attention to the materials used inside – current models fall behind their European rivals in terms of fit and finish. The move to make the Mustang a world car will be controversial. Bosses will need to tread carefully so as not to alienate the model’s huge fan base – nearly 75,000 examples were sold in the US in 2010 – and still appeal to discerning UK buyers used to the BMW 3-Series Coupé and Audi A5. But with Vauxhall’s VXR8, and the Monaro before it, proving that there’s room for powerful muscle cars in the line-up of a mainstream maker, Ford will be confident of success.
