I've decided to sell the Capri for various reasons but mainly as Id like to see it go to a good home where it can be finished. I've had the car over a decade, its been my wedding car and I had every intention of keeping it forever but now seems like a good time to move on and play with some other toys. I wont go into great detail as I Id rather speak directly to those seriously interested but I'll list the important bits 1980 X-Pack in Radiant Red ( originally a Ghia Auto, so bigger trans tunnel ) LSD Shark Grey Interior 2.8i Front Struts, GAZ adjustables and X-Frame at the rear Wilwood Caliper included but not fitted Compomotive ML 15 X 9's Refurbed and used on the road twice, new tyres up front Genuine Turbo Tail Resprayed 2007, seen 3 days of sunshine since The engine is out and was ready to inspect / replace any parts, bearings, gaskets etc. I was intending to overhaul the engine and pout it back in but that's as far as I've got really. There's also a Mk2 manual steering cross member ready to go as well The car comes with numerous parts, spares etc including a brand new 38DGAS manual choke carb and some rather nice cast rocker covers. Its been garaged the whole time I've had the car and still is. I'll go into more detail with any prospective buyer but the car is in great shape, not perfect but certainly a very good car with a lot of the hard work done. It probably wants more time than money to finish so its a brilliant project that almost anyone could do. I could finish much of the work myself but I don't have the time to continue the work just to be able to ask more for the car. I'm offering the car for £3995 with all the spares I have. It may be worth more but I feel its a fair price to gain a quick sale. I don't need to sell but I do need to let it go before I change my mind. I have this PC / Server case, it served as my main PC for a couple of years but a fan failure caused it to overheat and killed it. I no longer need a PC so I didn't bother upgrading it so it now sits gathering dust. It has acres of space, there are probably plenty of components left that are usable, and I have a box of bits, fittings etc. Its located in Medway I Kent but can be dropped off most places in Essex by arrangement. Laney TF100 Tube Fusion Guitar Amp Bought a few years ago and hardly ever used. Gigged very lightly once. Nice sound, typical of a good Laney amp, HH speaker, good variation of controls. I had a few minutes of it being temperamental but since then its been fine. Just want to be 100% honest. Kept in dry storage from a pet free, smoke free home. A family member is dissolving her business and I'm helping her clear out her office. There are a number of quite expensive IKEA Galant modular desks, a couple of office chairs, large filing cabinets and wall units that MUST GO I often work in Essex and have a van so delivery is possible. I'd love to get rid of as many bits as possible in one go, but most can be sold individually. The wall units would be great for someones garage and I'd sell them individually if needed. it might all come from the same place, in the same tankers and tested etc but the fact remains that we only ever hear of problems with supermarket fuel!!! It always seem to be the case that those who have had a problem notice it goes away once they go back to a branded fuel so who knows where the problem lies but there defiantly seems to be a problem nonetheless.

Tescos amongst other are known to buy the cheapest grade of fuel so it is often lower quality etc I had the exact same problem with a bike a few years ago, lost a lot of power, flat as a pancake. Used BP and within a mile it went like a rocket. Its quite a common think I think you'll find

A mate of mine is in an up and coming band, they play similar stuff to the likes of Pendulum etc. They are putting together a music video for their second single and want to do a 70's style cops and robbers chase ( Beastie Boys - Sabotage style ). Lots of exaggerated mustaches, cardigans, driving into empty boxes and generally acting like Bodie and Doyle. It will take place in Southend around the 2nd of August although this may change. We are looking for relatively standard looking late 70's to early 80's cars, Cortina's, Granada's, Capri's, and we would like the drivers/owners to be in the video as well if possible as this is on a tight budget. There is no payment involved as far a I am aware so please only get involved if you simple fancy a laugh, wanna see a video being shot and fancy the possibility of being famous!!!!
