Its hard to find a 1300GT that you know the history etc of and really i would want to hear/see an engine run before i bothered to fit it into my own car

Right i am after fitting 1300GT Pistons,Connecting Rods,1300GT Head Onto My Current Engine (as i know its a good 38,000 mile block etc ). I then will be fitting a twin choke webber,KnN Filter,4 branch manifold and escort sport exhaust system (standard type) so basically i am making it 1300GT spec. Can this be done are am i being silly

Sounds good to me im deffinitly gonna fit this on And get a nice shiney chrome filter to go on top of it

Anyone know if this will be to much for my little 1100HC 55BHP engine will it overfuel it or shud it be okay once set up properly? Also does anyone know the proper model name for the carb i have its a twin choke webber from a 1300GT MK1 Escort.

My standard carb on my MK1 has been playing up extremely badly and now i cant even drive it without it dying/cuting out The good news is i have a twin choke webber carb removed from a 1300GT complete with the inlet which apparantly fits straight onto my 1100L is this true (if not what mods are needed?) Also i need to get a rekit for it and an inlet gasket and i just wondered what model exactly of webber they are on the 1300GT (eg 32/36)? Does anyone think the 1300GT carb may be to much for my little 1100HC 55HP engine? If anyone could help me out here i would really appreciate it

I also recieved the hazzard switch which novanut64 gave to me so i plugged that in and i now have hazzards again So thanks alot for that novanut64

Been busy today i fitted my new black and silver pressed alloy plates and also fitted my chrome number plate surrounds.I then fitted a new top rad hose as my one was starting to wear through. I had to have the grill off to do the front number plate so i decided to spray the middle bit black as it had quite a few chips on it. I used gloss black which has come up really nice. Heres Some Pictures: I will fit the grill back on tomorrow and take a picture of it once that is done
