  1. Hi Mate The filler you have is fine as is the paint but you need some finer grades of sand paper for example you need the following to make a nice job of it: 60 grit to knock the worst of the filler back 80 grit 120 180 240 320 400 600 800 1000 1200 This is used to wet flat down the primer before you put the top coat on. You start with the lowest and end up on 1000 before putting primer on this way you wont see any rubbing down marks in the top coat You will also need some things called tack rags to wipe the panel clean before you put any primer/top coat onto it.You will need to tack rag the surface before priming and then before the top coat. Another thing that would be useful is fine surface filler which is used to fill tiny pin holes that show up once its been primed this can be put on vry smoothly left for about 1 hour to dry and then flatted down with 1200 before you wet flat the primer. I hope this help you out mate If you need anymore info then maybe ricks how to guide (DIY Spray Job)will help you out. http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... hp?t=49218

  6. Right here are some pictures of the damage: I have put one coat of touch up paint over it using a touch up brush and you can hardly tell its even there now its so low down i dont think i will even bother to repair it (I might do it in the summer if i find myself with a bit of spare time). When my Dad saw it he said stop being a tart
  7. Managed to dent my drivers rear quarter this morning and i am absolutely gutted I was reversing back into a space in the car park where i park for school there was a lamp post and i was going back at literally 1mph i heard a little dink so i thought it was my bumper hitting the lamp post so i pulled forwards and got out to have a look. But below the lamp post is a sort of circular bit of metal that goes around the lamp post which is very low down (completely out of sight) from any driver. It hit just below the bumper on my drivers rear quarter and has put a tiny dink on it so i now have to just touch it up until i can spray the whole panel in the summer Judging by the state of the circular piece of metal im not the only one thats hit it So i am feeling pretty P*ssed off with myself at the moment at i am extremely gutted I will add some pictures later
