My Escort Mk1 is now very close to being on the road so i need to start thinking about insurance i would like the insurance in my own name and my Dad as a named driver but all of the classic car insurers i can find are 21's+ etc If anyone knows any companys that specialize in classic car insurance then would you mind letting me know please as its really confusing me now Also i need to get a valuation and i just wondered if anyone can recommend someone that can do this for a fair price for me I would really appriciate any help Cheers

Right i think ive just about got my head around that Thanks for all of the help i think that the degraser is deffinitly my problem then and also i used my Dads petrol compressor as this was a large area and my little one wont keep up i do have a water trap but i have never rigged it up on either of my compressors as its always been very warm and dry when i have been spraying but as you know today was just about warm enough but there was moisture in the air so i think i better get the trap rigged up. Thanks so much for all of the help my Dad would usually tell me how to sort it as he worked in a bodyshop for a while but my family have all gone to France for a week (Until this Saturday) and i want to get my car finished so i though i would ask the pro's. Anyway thanks for all the help once again and i think i will just unbolt the bonnet now and do it in the garage at a later date as im pi**ed off with it at the moment,Im going to aim to finish the roof before the weather shuts down and then i can spray the last two doors and the bonnet in the garage with the heater on (nice and warm) Cheers

Oh do you have to wipe off the panel wipe it always seemed to evaporate so i have always just let it evaporate which happens pretty much instantly and then pained onto the panel do i need to wipe it with a clean cloth then?

Today when i attempted to spray my bonnet this reaction happened: I am not sure what caused it but i painted my two wings and passenger door shuts at the same time and there was no reaction on them. I prepared every panel the same and panel wiped it all of before painting them so i really cant understand whats going on. Could it be that there is water in the air supply or that i didnt mix the paint properly or somthing?? Can anyone help me please ??????

Ive tried to click format on it and it just says insert disk into drive??? i think i need to go and get my self a memory card reader!

I cannot format it as i do not have a memory card reader and thats the only way that might work.

I brought a memory card for my psp today its a 2gb pro duo made by sony i put it into my psp it read it fine so i plugged my psp in to my pc via the lead and put some music on there. It all worked fine then i decided to put some videos on it,i did so using an online guide and unplugged the psp and tryed to open the video menu up it sayed corupt data so i switched off the psp and plugged it onto my pc and it would'nt find the memory card! So i tryed unplugging and switching on my psp and it was saying insert memory card and its put it perfectly i tried taking it out blowing into the slot and blowing the memory card ( the usual trick) but nothing still..... All that is happening is the light is flashing when you insert the mem card but nothing else (it just wont read it or find it) Could the memory card possibly need a format using a memory card reader or somthing or could the memory card be faulty? I would really appreciate any help guys as this is giving me a headache now

Me old man had a dream last night that my escort was sinking in the sea and it is round the side entrance on ramps at the back end so the front facing down and the rear ends up in the air.Well i have not seal on the boot at the moment and no boot lock so the water can get in there and when i looked the whole boot was full of water. If it had got any higher it would have gone over into the back seats and ended up filling up the whole car Ive dropped it off of the ramps now so the water can drain away as it should Weird Hey Anyways its saved my carpets etc thanks to me Dads dream
