we did think that when fitting it but on the clutch plate itself it had "flywheel side" printed on it so thats how we did it. heavy duty upgrade might be an answer tho?? maybe once the engine is revving it might i dunno centre itself out or free up or something??? il find out definately wen it crunches wen the engine is running

i have a brand new from the box clutch for my escort its the write modle and everything but it looked different eg instead of 6 springs it had 5 biger ones and instead of lots of those peg things the thrustbearing pushes it has like 7 or something i fitted in fine but wen i roll the car on a gentle slope ( 1 mph ) dip the clutch to put it in first gear it wont go in and if you pust hard it just slows the car down. i havent tried with the engine running yet as its a brand new engine and first startup will be tonight.... ive tried adjusting the cable with the nuts so their is more movement but it aint having it.... also its real stiff but i gues its coz its new????? i rele dont wanna take the fooking gearbox or engine out again

ok il set the tappets again.. the guy who put the cam in must have done that 108 degrease thing wen he put it in hes a engine modifyer so i gues he knows his stuff thanks for ya help would their realy be any difference if i re did the tappets i mean its like 2 thou and 4 thou difference

wat do you mean by 108 degrees?? how does this correspond to the marks on the timing cover. ive set the tappet gaps as standard clearance inlet - 12 though and exhaust 22 though does this mean i have to re adjust it too 14 and 18?? this is ver confusing

well i can happily say i wrote 12 and a half pages of absolute bullshite with no punctuation atal ohh well i think i did ok ... i answered every question so thts all tht matters

nothing atal..... only did that subject coz their is a fit girl in that lesson and i wanted to perv now im going out with her so fook it i got wat i want out of the lesson but now i have an exam and i aint learned nothing from the whole year which is probably a good thing coz the teacher taught the wrong sylabus anyway. il try my best but hopes aint high.... my coursework is good tho so it might help the overal grade
