So far in the mk1 about 10. In the classic before it about 150. Hoping to get a few hundred in before the end of the year.

Some of the biggest most expensive dealerships have the worst prep out there though imo. But I do agree that over a certain price you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference in finish an lsp gives. It then comes down to durability etc.

Imo its ok for using on the stainless bin in the kitchen

Try Dodo Juice and Auto Finesse stuff. Fairly similar price when you break it down and it's much better quality imo.

What's your budget? For example I can recommend a wax at about £13 a tub which out performs a £40 wax. But likewise recommend waxes that cost £10k a tub. How long do you want to spend cleaning / detailing and how much effort do you want to put in? Main thing is prep though. You can spend thousands on kit, but if you don't put the effort in you're wasting your money. Even on the cheap stuff.

Mod it in the right way and keep as true to the original as possible so as to be able to return to standard and it should hold value shouldn't it?

Thought I better update this. I now have a mk1 fiesta on my drive.

Might have to ask swmbo if I can have these for the mk1 fiesta I haven't bought yet. Wish me luck lol.

Beetle crisis was quite good and the Mark Evans programmes were pretty good too imo.
