  1. The difference between a cake and a biscuit: When it goes stale: If it goes hard .... then it is a cake If it goes soft ..... then it is a biscuit
  2. We have been using 1155's for both track and road use for the past 5 years ...... very good on the Scooby although 1144's would be better for road use. They do give off a lot of brake dust though .... may or may not be important to you but brilliant pads. Never tried EBC so can't comment but wouldn't use anything other than Mintex.
  3. That looks well smart mate
  4. Okay guys and girls ....... as you know, we are the Admin staff on OSF: Admin Vista and myself Moderators Rally Pack 2000 This site is run by us at our own personal expense ...... we try to run a club like site which provides access to all the best events in the UK and it takes a lot of time and a great deal of effort to organise meets, shows, club stands, OSFDC . All of this is done because we love OSF and what it stands for .... but .... we have a problem ...... when we offer to get reduced priced tickets to events, we need you to pay promptly....... if you have put your name down to be on a club stand ..... please make the effort to pay up. Please don't put your name down on any of the lists unless you have every intention of paying and attending. We will continue to organise club stands at all of the great shows but we really need your support people. Thank you for listening and helping us OSF BIGGER AND BETTER IN 2010
  5. Russ started it and you replied Chelle. Please let's keep the BBQ (and any other) thread on topic or there will be some banning going on
  6. CHELLE AND RUSS I HAVE DELETED YOUR POSTS ...... KEEP YOUR GRIEVANCES OFF SITE .....

    lookin alike pt2

Oooh, Bash is gonna love you for that one Tim
  11. And I believe you saved more than that on your bike insurance when I gave you Carole Nash's name
  12. The idea of a this is not only to try to generate some revenue to help Darren to continue to pay for the running of the site but to make OSF even bigger and better than it already is. We DEFINITELY DO NOT want to exclude anyone at all ....... the intention is to allow access to the whole of the site for everyone but to allow "Plus" members certain discounts and opportunities (exact details yet to be decided) not afforded to other normal members.
  13. Can you give some idea of what annual amount you would be willing to pay: £5 - £10 £10 - £15 £15 - £20 £20 - £25
  14. Lovely cars the 3 doors but not Old Skool in my books just yet
  15. I have voted Zetec - to keep it Ford but the XE engine is a good/reliable/cheap engine. Don't know anything about the Duratecs.
  16. They had one at the end of August and usually the next one at Lydden is March/April again. They used to race at Brands years ago and then they bought the race back to Brands 2 years ago (fantastic stuff) and last year as well (i think) but for some reason it was not there this year. It would've been November. I'll remind you Bash when it's on again at Lydden Jo
  17. well done Mk2Jo, proper battles there I've still got the the Rossi/Gibernau fight at the beginning of the year saved (2nd round), still gets me on the edge of my seat every time Sorry to continue with the off topic but Moto GP does it for me too. I never watch cars racing on the telly cos its sooo boring compared to bikes. When it comes to cars I really do love everything, racing at lydden is good but thats not really rallying is it. I've watched a few local rallys but it gets boring waiting for the next car to arrive only to find out he didn't get it proper sideways. Circuit racing is o.k to watch when its close. Steve You must mean Rallycross?? These photos were taken at Lydden Rallycross in April this year: Suppose it's a bit of both disciplines. Jo
  18. Ooops - sounds like a challenge is in the offing Jo
  19. At the end of the day I enjoy both rallying and circuit/track racing. And when it comes to tussles on the track and fighting for position, these boys are just as exciting: Sorry, gone a bit off topic there ....... still reckon rallying over track Jo
  20. But ..... the blackstuff boys have plenty of kitty litter to soften the blow if they become a little out of shape ....... rally boys sometimes only have a narrow gravel track to negotiate at 100+ mph with a sheer cliffside drop of 100's of feet - now that is seat of your pants stuff Mucho skill required Jo
  21. Nice pics Al - that blue RS2000 looks scarily like a Golf And Mr McCrae
