Could i make my own panhard bar and brackets. I have a nice steel bar which i can use. just got to get some rose joints for it and i have steel to make brackets. Question tho. Would i have to make the bracket on the body go through the floor as im not botherd about adjusting it just need to hold axle in place.

What i do is get some tape(masking) and fit the whole side of the car in 3 pieces. Make sure everything is how you want it. Mark at intervals around the backing paper on it and on the body. Black marker helps. When happy remove decal/tape and remove backing paper. spray body with water/fairy mix and lay decal on the car and align with marks. Grab a card (bank or similar) and squeeze the excess water from the MIDDLE UP Then the MIDDLE DOWN. if you get any edges which wont lay flat use a hair dryer to warm it. this also helps on edges/corners. leave to dry a bit and pull backing off at a 170 degree angle to panel. as you are pulling some may lift. just use your card again to flatten. Its not as hard as people say just time consuming. did my whole mex in 4 hrs.

I need to fit a seat belt in the back for my 2 1/2 year olds car seat. In my newer car the belt goes around the back of the seat and the seat has its own harness. How do i go about this and where would i get belts from/fit them to etc. would a lap style belt system be ok? Thanks

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Been away for a while after selling my mk1 and selling my 100e. Still have a mk1 fiesta tho and have an idea I fancy putting an engine in the back but i want to do it on the cheap just as a bit of fun track car. Needs to be powerful i.e turbo I have all the gear i.e welders metal etc. Whats involved and what engine box would be the best cheapest maybe volvo fwd or saab fwd or summit or would it be best to stick to ford i.e mondeo or summit. Im guessing i would use the engine gearbox driveshafts and uprights and just lock the hubs in place with tie bars?? any info would be great

could someone help me out and give me the distance from where the back of the wheel sits on the brake drum to the outer lip at the front. and also the distance from the drum to the rear lip of the rim I have an idea cheers
