  1. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... &rd=1&rd=1 Seriously considering it
  2. I think that if you have to money for such an insane build then its worth getting a 2 door for that little extra. Good Luck
  3. opps, sorry
  4. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/pro-street-escort ... dZViewItem RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!
  5. You lot make me shamed I am a weak man! I sold my OSFs and kit car partly because of reliability issues, more money stress than anything else. My problem is spending every penny i have on the car and not keeping money aside for the inevitable repairs. Got myself a second job now so should have enough money to get another in the summer (crossed fingers). Pray for me.

  8. See the connection Love da beer
  9. I used to have a Tiger Supercat. Only had a 2ltr Pinto with 45s and big valve head (139bhp). But with only 550kg to pull it was a rush!!! was so sad to see it go as i built it myself.
  10. I had 888rs on my Mk1 Mex. They were mental. Brought my 0-60 down by over a second!! The problem with them for me were that they were too sticky. When taking corners the car would lean over so badly the inside rear would simply spin. Going sideways was hardwork. I even had single leafs. To spin the wheels i had to drop the clutch at 6000rpm. Thats with a roughly 130bhp Pinto. Basically what i'm trying to say is that it took some of the fun out of it. But they did they are supposed to do, but maybe more suited to a high bhp car.
  11. I think that this discussion/argument simply highlights the differences in outlook that younger people have with those more experienced in life. I hate to say that someone is old at 25, but as in all things there needs to be a line. I think that a lot of people are taking this very personally when to me (as a young-ung) it all seems quite reasonable. OSF is predominantly made out of people that are over 25 and although for some under 25s they might find it easy and natural to mingle with people a lot older than themselves but I think for the majority of younger people it can be quite intimidating. For people of less experience and knowledge the perceived risk of making an idiot out of yourself when attempting to socialise with those of more experience is an issue. It just so happens that this group of people are generally those of few years. As said before this is not a planned regular thing just a one off, which would hopefully make the “proper” meets more enjoyable for all. At the end of the day there is a reason why young people generally tend to have friends of similar ages. I know that it is a very touchy subject but I see no harm in there being a one off meet. I certainly wouldn’t subscribe to the idea of having regular YOSF meets, that would almost betray the idea of the site, I agree. Make sense?
  12. ditto
  13. I'm turning 21 and think it would be nice to have meets for the younger ones on the site. Not bothered about a younger osfdc as if i want to (had the money to) i wouldn't be bothered stripping it with the big boys, i like to think i could hold my own.
  14. I'm in
