  1. Without stating the obvious have you asked H&H themselves ? They would surely know best ? Cheers Craig
  2. You're going to need a rheostat m8, not a variable resitor as it won't handle the current. Have a wee look here to explain it a bit better. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potentiometer Next you need to find out what the value of your old resitor was. It might say on the side. The value will be in Ohms. If it doesn't you need to get a hold of a good one and messure the resitance with a meter. You also need to know the wattage of the origional resitor so you can get a rheostat with the same or higher wattage. Hope this helps a bit. Craig
  3. No i bought it because I am an enthusiast. As much as I would like to continue this debate the threat of legal action means I am unable to carry on.
  4. Same here mate, can't find Retro Cars or Retro Ford anywhere... I'm being deprived I've my monthly flick through! Why do you keep stirring it up and going over the same ground again and again and again... ? Something to do with "Once was editor of CF magazine" ? Nope, I just can't find Retro Ford or Retro Cars anywhere. My newsagents down the road haven't got it this month and neither has anywhere else around by me – I did try telling them that I "Once was editor of CF magazine", but that didn't seem to make a difference. Sorry Dalek, didn't realise your sensibilities would be upset by my former comment. I hope you can forgive me, I'll try harder not to let my comments offend you in the future. Apologies accepted, nobody is perfect even if they have edited Classic Ford mag, badly. Try subscribing, it's well worth all the hassle getting the mag and perhaps you might see how a proper magazine is put together. You're so gracious Dalek, if a little bitter. Might be worth investing in some therapy, help you get over your little problem - what ever it is. Actually you seemed to have quite a problem with the editor I took over from too. I remember you venting that publicly on forums from your keyboard as well. Jealousy, misunderstanding of the product, repressed homosexual feelings? Help me out... I don't tend to subscribe to magazines. I like to go to the shop and buy to be honest, plus you get to have a look before parting with your cash. Just interested. Did you buy Classic Ford when I edited it? My problem ? You're the one that was "Once was editor of CF magazine". This has obviously had a very negative effect on you. Suggest you look into therapy yourself or a psychariatrist ? You can talk in length about "Jealousy, misunderstanding of the product, repressed homosexual feelings? "While you are there, you are obviously a bit mixed up ! In my opinion and, and let's face it, most of the people that posted on that thread over on Turbosports were not very happy with the mag during the period after Simon W left. Yes I have bought Classic Ford mag for many years even when you were the editor. Why / How else could I comment on the magazine if I didn't read it ? All I'm interested in is getting something half decent I can read in the bog rather than wanting to wipe my arse with it in the bog.. LOL For those who are interested here is the thread that I started over on Turbosports. Edited by Admin So what's next then ? Is your Dad bigger than my Dad and are you going to send him up here ? LOL

  7. Bellhousing looks like an anglia one, if it has a part number that starts 105e then it is. The breather is a water drain from an early 105e anglia heater.

  10. It's going to be no comfort to you but your not alone. I have also been completly ripped off by ford Parts and i know of several other people as well. Did you get the usual chat from him.. My wife deals with refunds, then you get his wife and he deals with refunds, then its the accountnant that deals with it, then the account deals with it at the end of the month. When asked why he can't just put it through the same was as he took it off he gets a bit shirty. In the end i just kept calling him so he wasn't getting any buisness via the phone, two can play silly buggers... I got most of my money back but not all of it. He will end up like the guy from madhorse classics who almost got beaten to death... Best avoid him, he is a con man.
