  8. This is a get out clause if it all goes tits up. Remember wilwwods are American. Americans sue each other at the drop of a hat or less... kEEP THEM CLEAN AND YOU WILL PROBABLY BE OK ! I've looked into this a lot... Pro and cons of dustseals.. Pro's dust doesn't get in round the pistons casuing them to possibly stick acts like an OEM caliper. You don't have to keep them clean and keep and eye on them for corrosion on the pistons etc Con's racers don't like them as the seals get buggered, melt, ripped etc Pro and cons of not having dustseals.. Pro's selas don't get buggered, cause you havn't got any ! Con's You really have got to keep everything clean ! Really clean. Pistons. This is important especialy if you don't have any dustseals. Best material to be made out of is stainless steel Second best is an anoidised type of finnish Worst is none of the above ! What i can tell you based on months of looking into this a year or so ago is that outlaw calipers have stainless steel pistons and no dust seals (i bought these) HiSpec have anodised type of pistons (poor reputation for service and quality etc, search on google...) Wilwwod have neither. (double check this as they might have changed them) Now then. This might have all changed with the willwoods, best ask rally design as they are the uk distributor. OR do some research on the internet, phone suppliers up etc Hope this helps and don't piss on anybodys fire... You will be fine with the wilwoods, there are thousands of cars with them fitted !!!
  9. It's called jewelers rouge. Somebody on eBay sells it http://search.stores.ebay.co.uk/The-Scratch-Doctor_gold_W0QQftsZ1QQsaselZ358705047QQsatitleZgoldQQsofpZ0
  10. Yes it will... but the crank will rub on it.... You can bash the sump out to clear (bodge) but you would be better getting the correct sump. So you will need a rubber seal type sump since it's an escort based engine, front and rear covers, pickup pipe and a dipstick. Craig
  11. Hammerrite should be called hammershite imo. Use a real paint if you are going to use it in an area that is susceptible to stone chiping, ie POR 15. Or powdercoat it, much harder wearing BUT if/when the powdercoat does get chipped then it goes like alloy wheels, rust creeps under it until one day a big chunk of powdercoat falls off.
  12. Your missing a fair few models from your list m8... You may as well have put all the options for Escort... Yawn... As for this Some of the other old signs have an austin 1100 in them. 107E was Ford trying to get rid of the last of the old model (100E) by tarting it up. Engine, gearbox, axle (obviously a different bulkhead to get the "modern" engine in)

  18. Has anybody seen Chop Shop - London Garage yet ? Well it's Mr Lepu and Bernie again, remember them from Bangla Bangers ? If you seen it the last time you will probably remember the "wheel spacers" he used the last time.... In the first episode of Chop Shop - London Garage they need spacers again, for this 3 series BMW. 6 inches wide !!! At least this time they have them properly made by a machine shop... But still, 6 inch wide spacers ! Anybody else seen it ? Cheers Craig
