I did take the Capri.... but not up the strip It's still a bit temperamental on the cooling and it's not been caned yet Managed to drive it there and back with it behaving itself though, so was pretty pleased with that

Just got back from North Weald and spotted loads of great OSFs Here's a few pics I took

Thanks Capri is fine thanks... got me home from Pease Pottage no problems at all - even had to call in to Hatfield on the way back to rescue my wife stranded with a puncture in her car! Surprised a few shoppers seeing me pull up in the Tesco car park I don't think it was anything more serious than a sticky thermostat TBH. I'll change it as a precaution now, but have only just got back from a few days in France so haven't done anything on it. Been out for a brief trip in it again tonight and all ok

I enjoy doing them If anyone else needs one doing in a hurry, you'd best be quick as I'm off to France on Wednesday for a 174km race through the Alps on this: Tour de France is in the UK this weekend... I'm in France on a tour stage at the same time. Great planning

I'll try not to overheat next time Missed out on the last stage of the convoy to Brighton while I cooled off at Pease Pottage. Re-filled the rad and headed off to limp home and the car drove 70 all the way back no problems. Typical. Still had a great day - will definitely be back next year - and was good to put faces/cars to names too. Well done the organisers - fantastic first L2B!

Their forecast now shows that it's only going to be raining at 3 in the morning and after 6 in the evening. Rest of the day says sunny intervals But then what do the met office know about the weather - they seem to work on an elaborate system of guesswork!
