  1. It's pretty good, straight, afew marks but could use a polish and repaint to make it better. Have a look first but I'd like £30
  2. I'll have a look at it I can't remember how good it is. I'm sure its straight as I would'nt have kept it in the loft other wise. Let you know how much tomorrow, nothing silly anyway
  3. I've got a spare round head light one in fair condition
  4. get yourself a straight cut type 9 and they all sound like that
  5. It must be built into all classic ford owners, if you randomly see another classic ford you must have a little race
  6. Gary makes them dude, but you need a antidive to bolt it onto. See here http://www.turbosport.co.uk/showthread.php?t=92516
  7. That bumper and overiders cost the same as quarters bumpers. I wouldn't have bother with the spots but apart from that it was a enjoyable show. Missed loads out though, where did the new hockey sticks come from etc.
  8. Love it or hate it, MK1 Escort tonight, 9pm Discovery channel
  9. I've never seen a mk1 police in modern times, only a corgi model
  10. Very nice indeed Does it have a thread?
  11. I skipped a mint pair afew years ago as I could'nt sell them and they were in the way. Got to be worth £40 I'd say if you can find a buyer.
  12. They look very nice, will they still be available after christmas?
  13. First you need to drill two holes to except the extra lugs on the new dash (mark where to drill by putting dabs of paint on the ends of the lugs and carefully placing it in position) Then get a hack saw or tin snips and remove the extra metal. The headlamp switch will need to be moved somewhere else also.
  14. Might buy it and fit a fibreglass x-pack
  15. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2239771/Dozens-WWII-spitfires-buried-jungle-Burma-flying-years.html Very interesting read, I hope they find them in good shape.
  16. St170 would be better on throttle bodies. I don't think a pair of carbs would push the power much over stock. I'm thinking of building one next and using the stock TB and ecu, 170hp and VVT for free with no setup required is fine by me.
  17. Twin 40's will be good for the x-flow and twin 45's for the zetec but they have have the 5th progression hole otherwise it will have a flat spot.
  18. They seem to respect classics at least, if you can remember the muscle cars they have always been very nice looking with no added tat.
  19. If its got vin diesel and paul walker in then it will prob be a half decent film. It will jog a lot of memories for people who use to have them and make people who have never seen them before want one. Increasing the desirability of a rare car will no doubt drive their value up even more.
  20. I had the same issue with my crossflow H&H dizzy. Replaced the coil and it still did it so it was the dizzy that was faulty. When the engine was fully hot it cut out with no spark, then when it cooled its was ok again. Called H&H and they repaired it for free, 3 years after the warranty ran out. Great service
  21. I ain't gettin on no plane sucka
  22. It's not strong enough really buy I decided it was ok for road use. There is a cross member at the bottom of where the rear seat goes that would be good to mount on.
  23. There are suitable holes in the parcel shelf that I used for mine. You just need some 7/16 nuts for the eyelets. Its good as it keeps the belts horizontal but Ideally the area should be reinforced. Guess its too late for that now. Other people loop it round the rollcage. Cheers
  24. Mate that looks the tits Real tidy build, fit for a magazine feature if you ask me. Classic Ford Mag should get in touch!
  25. No good for me as the top hose is the wrong shape for a crossflow for a big header tank radiator
