I had the exact same problem when I was running a pinto on this carb, just crap in the jets, take the top of the carb off, don't have to take the whole thing off I think from memory and whip the jets out one at a time so you don't mix up what goes where and blast straight throgh them with carb cleaner and hey presto its back up again. Did you have slight backfire when you let off when driving too? All sorted for me after cleaning them out.

they're 12 inch wheels, only just slid over the calipers. Main reason I got them was they were cheaper than 4 tyres coming in at 26 quid, gotta love that ebay.

Here's a few pics of my Mk1 fiesta i've been using to get around in. Will be selling it shortly so what do you guys reckon its worth, has had a load of new bits, ie battery, radiator, ball joints, cv boots, all round hardlines replaced inc flexihose, full service inc points etc. still has about 9 months mot too. Some 12inch alleycats too. Cheers let me know what you think.

Currently sat on axle stands awaiting bilsteins and 2.8 discs etc, single leafs with 1.5" lowering blocks, t9 box fitted with short linkage 2.8 anti roll bars, 4 branch manifold with straight through exhaust, 32/36 weber, poly bushes all round just needs the engine putting in as its only a 1.6 at the moment. Have owned the car for about a year and a half now and been budgeting my student loan on it till I finally graduated this year. Just needs a bit of filling around the back and shold nearly be complete. What are peoples opinions on 2l injection pinto's?
