This paint is bloody weird. I took the tunnel top outside this morning and under natural light it looks white white. So I'm now confused

OK I got bored so i've put some paint on to show you all. Is this the right or wrong colour?

Do you know what the paint code is for Diamond white on a MK2 Escort? It looks like I'm going to have to take the paint back then, but I'll need to tell the guy what the correct code is so he doesn't get it wrong again. Cheers

Can anyone confirm if the details on my paint tin label on the tim I've just bought are correct for a MK2 Escort? Ford Diamond White B/FB 1.2000 MMJ 4310 Reason for asking I'm not convinced this is the correct paint. Looks more like Ermine white to me? I have nothing to match it against so I am not sure if its the right paint anyway.

Hi, I want a proper fitted car cover that's waterproof and breathable for my MK2 Escort (alloy arched). Anybody got any recommendations from covers they have bought? Is there an off the shelf cover for an arched car that fits and hugs the car shape prefectly? I don't really want to take my car to get measured up so i was hoping someone has done so already? Struggling today to get my head round fitting the brace that goes across the rear seat crossmember for the Gartrac 4 links. Anyone got any pictures of how it fits together please? This is for the gartrac kit, not the other makes. Thanks

No not for me but a friend was asking. I would guess it is quite often at shows judging by the condition. I've not seen it myself because I don't go to many shows.

Duffy started off as a postman & now he's a lumberjack. The Squires at RACE said the car he crashed in Ireland stayed there & it never came back because he sold the wreck to a local. I went to Mull this year. Cossie Matt & his brother Glen both had a go at the teacakes eating contect. B****y good laugh that was. Reckoned on some cheating going on under the table though. If it wasn't for that I reckoned the Downer boys would have taken a trophy home. If you've never been before just get off your ar*es in 2007 & get up there. There's nothing to beat it in terms of atmosphere, especially when 1/3 of the field is MK1/MK2 Escorts.

I've been running 888's on my car all season. 250 hp escort MK2. I reckon they are OK in the dry & crap in the wet. They wear out very quickly though, did 6 sprint events, i.e. 20 laps of a track, roughly 40 miles before the canvas was showing. I'm comparing them with my regular tyre the Dunlop CR311, my prefernce would be these over the Toyo's anyday, but Toyo is sponsoring the championship so we get em cheap. Also Toyo is a road legal tyre, whereas CR311 is not.
