it was good to see all the retro ford cars, and so many people and cars

even on the way to work early in the morning and only 3 miles away from home every time i take the escort to work i get one or more people giving the thumbs up, flash, or beep , your right everybody loves an old ford.

please dont do it iam still waiting for parts since june 2007 very poor service they quoted me 3 weeks for a pinto head and a alloy pully the head arrived in december 2007 after hundreds of calls, still waiting for the pully which costs £70 also they took all the money from my card first when they say money is only deducted when the head is dispatched. just had to tell you all i was filling with petrol when some bloke came up to me i like your mexico i said thanks, but is an rs 2000 mk11 as i pointed to the stickers all over the car he then said is it a 1600cc i then pointed to the sticker again to say that its a 2000cc hence the rs 2000. i do get alot of people talking to me about the car but this made me crack up as he made out he new lots about these old fords as he was telling me that my car was a mk1 escort and not a mk11 as it was a v reg 1980 car i did not know that mk1 escorts were made upto then. has anybody had any nut cases talk to them lately

i got to the front gate at 1030 am looked like no one was there not many escorts or anything old skool, then they said £24 to get in i said get lost so we went to the beach in deal had a great day.

hi yes been looking on this site for a while but never posted before, the car is a 1980 venetian red rs 2000 it has been restored back to a good solid car to be used for fun 2.1 big valve head twin 45s 5 speed quick shift, lowered 2 inches polybushed all round the usual thing, this will be the 4th escort i have owned but the other 3 were from the age of 17 to 21 an escort mk11 1600 sport then a harrier then a rs 2000
