Yeah reckon ill go with the lotus steels and quarter bumpers. Got two steels, need another two or three- will post up in the wanted section. When it comes to noise im easily persuaded, got the 40's and the manifold, just need the linkage, gaskets etc... would be rude not to

Spent years around old trucks (ex-traveller), and 'old codgers' with old engines, its traditional to give them female names and all that.. kind of picked the habit up with the 'she' thing, dont go as far to name them though... not yet, ill give it a few more years

Cheers folks, Few ideas, for starters got some twin dellorto 40's that i may fit, though im not sure the power gain will be worth the added fuel consumption Need to sort a few bodywork spots out, then had planned on getting it painted a satin black or really dark 'black-green'.. if you get me , also a set of anthracite minilites or lotus steels (not sure which way to go). Front quarter-bumpers would be nice too, with 'teeth' (overriders aint they?). Still mulling ideas over really, been sorting a few other things- fuel lines, cables etc, seats, and installed a remote break servo.

She was rebuilt a few years back, down in kent i think, as a lotus cortina replica. Had a small fature in Classic Ford (Feb 2003, page 66)... yes, a 4 door with the rear doors welded up . Since then she has a had a few owners and need a bit of attention here and there, unfortunately the lotus twin-cam has been removed and replaced with 1600 x-flow. I got her a few months ago and have a few plans- getting rid of the lotus badges and new paint for one. cheers!
