I think other Capri owners look down on each other. I spotted a brooklands coming towards me so i waved and because my Capri is a battered looking Laser i got blanked Surely we all have one purpose on here and thats restoring and enjoying old skool Fords whether its an Escort,Capri,Cortina whatever. My preference is Capri's i don't think i'll own an Escort MK1 or 2 because the prices keep rising anything genuine RS is morgage time, but that just goes to show what a popular car they are and what a rally legend they were, and still are as some people still use them Capri prices are going the same way and so are Cortina's so buy em now before you can't afford to

Its more fun to incapacitate their cars though Had an 07 plate M3 try to push out of a junction in front of me and i didn't let him go so he preceeded to drive an inch off my ass along a road i know well, It was pouring with rain so obviously if i brake he will go straight into me. What he didn't realise was the railway bridge ahead of us floods underneath badly in the rain can be well over 1FT deep. So i spedd up with him still glued to my ass i almost hit the top of the bridge when i aqua planed across this water went from 80-40 with the force of the water proper rally style out the otherside with the K&N snorting and the alternator light now shining brightly he droped back after that and pulled over ....Bonnet up..... oh dear The moral of the story???? modern cars are crap give me a distributer, points and a carb anyday

I got some of the strips so i can copy them to make replacements and yes i have the rubbers too The kit needs repair on one of the corners and i'm not sure if i will flush fit it yet
