The axle im replacing runs on a 3.89:1 ratio (its not a ford axle) that'll hopefully be mated to a Ford Windsor 289 or 302 V8. I know there are alot of options for diffs in the Atlas ones. Im looking for purely a 'middle of the road' setup set up to be good for initial pull and good for motorway cruising. Any suggestions?

nah its not like an anglia one, its a cylinder shape....no screws no clips...nothing!! looks like a sealed unit but it must have been put together somehow!!

maybe ill just wait to drop the V8....didnt think it'd be too much of a nightmare to upgrade the carb.

Hey you loverly lot, I'm toying with the idea of upgrading the carb on my MkII Consul to a 4-stage jobby and a decent air intake to hopefully push that little bit more out the meagre straight-4 I'm rolling any suggestions what might be compatible? I know Holleys are good (but pricey) and not sure which would be a subtible candidate. Any help? I wanna get one before I go to the speedshop so theres less ar*eing around

i had a rear windscreen rubber for my consul....was 2 inches too short pants

I havent got a manual for my MkII Consul and the (original) air filter is tbh completely f****d. until i get a new one (to fit on the 4-stage carb =) ) whats the best way of cleaning it as its a sealed unit (from what i can tell!!) anyone know how i could get over this one??

Hey does anyone know the official bolt ratio size for MkII consul wheels>?? i think its 5x4.5" but i may be wrong Anyone know for sure?? i need to order some adaptors from the States and cant get them wrong!!!

Where can i get a decent/different/interesting dash mounted rear view mirror from? ebays crap and google is even worse!!

personally id be more inclined to grab a 3.5 Rover V8 hahaha...if it would fit into your bay!

Wanna get my grubby mitts on an overdrive unit fpr my Consul MkII Lowline 1703cc i know theres some out there...its just getting people to part with them! Anyone know someone who knows someone etc etc etc???
