I was supposed to go look at a 2 door tina this weekend, but the guy cancelled, as he wasn't in town... will goto look this week sometime, or this weekend... But i have seen a few things on my travels this weekend... This MINT mk1 Capri Interior looks ok from a distance, but when you get close up, the finish isn't too good... I spoke to the guy about the re-trimming he told me it cos him 5000baht (£75) fitted... cheap or what! I have seen this mk2 tina parked up when i passed on the bus sometimes, but it went missing... so i went to look for it yesterday, parked up down a back street, obviously not being used much... But looked ok body wise... a good polish and it would look great. Didnt look TOO rusty underneath either And then... there is this old 4 door mk1, looking very sorry for itself!! Hopefully have some pics of the mk1 2 door this week

Cheers... Where is the chassis tag located mate, or is yours off the car?

Where is it? I need to explain to a guy over the phone where it is so he can give it to me. I would have thought the strut top - right?

I have seen this for sale for quite a while... looks mint. BUT, there is no log book with it... which is a big problem here, it basically means you cannot tax or insure the car, which again means, you cannot drive it, as if the police stop you and find out, they can take it off you. I have someone trying to look into this problem for me... so maybe, just maybe...

The towels on the dash will be to just keep the sun from reflecting for the dash and warming the car more/getting in your eyes. The Merc badge, bad as it is, can easilly be sorted... It was the back lights that I took a disliking to... And the mk2 bumpers can be binned, if i sourced some indicators. Otherwise looks in good cond... Although not for me i dont think... will carry on looking...

Went to look at this at the weekend... 4 door, but its the only mk2 i have ever seen in Thailand, and I have heard they are rare. But... a little bit too far gone for me. Although there is no such thing as an MOT here, and you can drive what ever rusty shed you want, this was a little bit TOO bad... although the pics dont seem to make it look that bad!! And that colour too!!

The best part - Nissan SR20 engine!! Just looking at this... again it 12 hours away though. Looks in great cond, but a little bit out of my price range and not really the car i want... He says it 200bhp, new rear axle, intercooler, turbo timer, most of the things on the car have been re-newed. He says he did 200kmph but after that he was scared... Maybe go take a look.......................
