...and I have the bill of sale to prove it.
I've owned this car since 2004 and had lots of fun with it, however recently it's just spending all its time locked up in a garage. A car like this needs to be out and enjoyed. My circumstances have changed recently and I no longer have the time to spare for this.
I'm ultra paranoid about where I keep this and who knows about it, so if you're after a viewing it will have to be at a car-park nearby.
This is a lovely car, it's great to drive. I recently did a trip of over 300 miles which it did faultlessly. There are no dints in the doors as I never park it in public car parks, ever!
It's not concourse, there's a few bits that could do with tidying, I've just not gotten round to them yet.
During the last 24 months all I've had done is replace the rear wheel bearings and the diff bearings. Otherwise the car is mechanically fine. It's MOT'd and Taxed and can be driven away.
This is the only proper RS Alloy...
I really don't like getting it wet I only tax it for the 6 months over summer.
The car hasn't changed much since I bought it, it did come with some nice modifications though... Thatcham Cat1 alarm/immobiliser Yale locks on boot and doors Strut brace Roll cage Bonnet pins Electronic ignition Elec fuel pump Fuel pressure regulator Bearing strut tops Bilstein shocks 2" Lowered front and rear
Cylinder head from the Injection so can run on unleaded and has larger ports 145lb springs Double width anti-dive kit Battery relocated to boot 5 speed gearbox Oil cooler Vented discs Braded hoses K&N air filter Scorpion Exhaust
The photo below is an old shot, the drivers seat is much nicer now but does still have one small hole still.
Back in 2005 I took it on the strip at Santa Pod (My first and last ever try at this...)
Not bad for a standard 2.0 engine...
In 2006, 2007 and 2008 Classic Ford and Retro Cars used it in their promotional bits...
Then Dolce & Gabnana paid me to bring it to London for a photoshoot for an advert that appeared in TEN Magazine in 2010. Sorry for the rubbish photo below, I wasn't allowed to take photos! Erm....
I've got the magazine...
And of course it made a few appearances on the TV in an episode of Ashes to Ashes... I have the entire episode on my PC and can supply it too on DVD/Memory stick if required...

I'm looking in the region of £8000 for this RS. Equally I'm kinda happy keeping it in the garage but it just saddens me that someone else could be enjoying it as it deserves to be
I don't come on OSF very often nowadays, if you're interested then it's best to text me on 07889 802355 The car is in Hertfordshire.
Thanks for looking.
