its 99% sorted now tappets were well out so was the mixture but now when its running it tappetey but dont misfire so give and take for now i think ill have another go later on when i get the chance but till have a play with the timing when its not just been out on a rag

yea they are done its not tappety at all maybe i did them a bit tight

right the head gasket went on my car so put a new one on it within 2 miles it poped the new one so started to investage so after a new water pump rad head gasket head biging skinned and tested and 300 notes later its running again stunning when its cold but misfire when warm right this is where it gets fun my dad came to see the car and hes not good with cars at all and started tweaking with my carb the mixure screw would this cause it to misfire when warm? thanks people this is how it sounds when cold thow lol

im wel up for this as long as my head gaskets last longer than a King day

Thanks mate, but you are a fair way away. I didnt think about A frames! I have managed to sort out a vehicle with a tow bar, so just need to borrow a trailer if anyone has one? no probs mate good luck finding one
