  1. Thanks Chaps! 👍
  2. Out of curiousity, can anyone tell me what car this axle might be from. It's 48.5" wide, has 8" drums and single piston wheel cylinders. I don't recognise the handbrake mechanism. My Dad has had this axle in his spares pile for the last 35 years, he think it might be from a Corsair, but can't be sure!
  3. Does anyone have a spare Pinto inlet manifold for a Weber 32/36? Preferably with a throttle linkage? Cheers John
  4. I saw this car last week at a car show, maybe not to everyone's taste, but it was stunning and done to a very high standard. It's all metal and although hard to see in the photos the doors and rear quarters have been heavily reworked too. When I first walked over to it from the front it took me a while to realise it was actually a Capri. I liked it.
  5. Yeah I'm watching those at the moment.
  6. Ive got fond memories of playing Kerplunk with my Grandma as a kid... 2005! Blimey has it been that long!
  7. Can anyone help me out with a standard Mk2 Escort Engine Cross member? Cosmetic condition isn't too important as long as it not rotten and is serviceable, I dont mind getting the wire brush and hammerite out! Cheers John
  8. Hi all, Just thought I reintroduce myself to the forum, I'm actually an old member that hasn't posted for a good few years, so I thought I'd try and get involved again! Unfortunately life got in the way of project cars. Kids, house moves, house renovations, lack of a garages etc meant that my old Escort was taken off the road in 2006 and I didn't get it back up and running until this July. Its a '79 Riviera Blue Mk2 that was my first car at 17 (1997). Its a little tatty but solid in the right places and mechanically sound. Some of you who used to meet up in Yorkshire will remember it with a 2.0 Pinto EFI, but after getting a garage built last year I've finally completed the engine conversion I've had in mind for years, its now running an injected 20XE. It's also had a full mechanical once over and is driving better than ever. Does anyone on the forum still meet up in the Yorkshire area? John
  9. Check out this great web site: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Type the two sizes in for a direct comparison.

  12. If anyones intrested, heres a few video clips that I took in Langdale. Watch out for Wilsons Escort at 7 mins 10secs. Enjoy... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NjTrsBSfLMs
  13. Great pics Tim. We went to Temple Newsham in the morning ten on to Langdale. Great day out as always. Good to see that Wilsons Mk2 was running a BDA. I thought it sounded different somehow, especially on the first run through Temple Newsham. I half expected it to be running a duratec or something more modern. If anyones intrested, heres a few video clips that I took in Langdale. Watch out for Wilsons Escort at 7 mins 10secs. Enjoy... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NjTrsBSfLMs
