If your compression is too high, or timing to advanced then it will pink. Pinking is also known as knocking. You will hear it most at high revs or under load. If you can hear it without the knocking ear muffs then it is pretty bad. We get 98 here. My 2l will pink on anything lower octane on the settings I have it. It is really hardsh on bottom end and will/can also melt your pistons.

165's also fit on a 7inch rim. For that extra stretched look.

You can use the vented capri disk's along with the AP 4pots and a spacer kit which I would imagine is easy to find in UK. The AP calipers are heavy.

Hope this is in right place. Anyways, looking for somewhere to import some new chrome mk1 escort 1/4 bumpers for front. New rear bumper for rear and a new circle light grille. Saw someone mention stainless bumpers. Do these look as good? Advantages/disadvantages? Going to have to save for this stuff Im guessing.
