  1. Don't know if anyone has seen this, it's a good site with loads of catalogue stuff for old Fords. http://www.oldcars.de/index_en.htm
  2. I would've thought it wouldn't be worthy of being on the site. Awesome car like, but by the old school would you have a Model T Ford on here?
  3. No way! I bet it was at the Croft Business park?
  4. I have unbolted the hub plate (four bolts). I am just being weak. I will give it all a proper yank this time. I though the diff casing was just that, it slid off along the prop shaft drive shaft. Ta!
  5. Needs a man with sideburns and a skintight red and brown 'kagool' (a la Gerry Marshall) standing next to it.
  6. Give the half shaft a good pull? What about the diff casingm, it feels like it's being stopped by some strange, mysterious force. I've had a drift in between in and the axle casing and lightly tapped around, but no give. I hate messing with things like this, they love moving around the floor. It's like doing it on a boat.
  7. I didn't realise there was 'more' to the site with the technical sections!! This is in the wrong place! I have completely removed all the bolts. The half shaft is 'loose', but want to check whether they are just stuck in, or need the diff taking out first.
  8. I've got myself an axle. I am building a kitcar, and for now, I'm using a 1970's axle. I've been removing 30 years of built up rust and grime and am dissassembling it to change the diff (it's welded) and angle grind and weld, etc. Has anyone go a good guide to stripping these down? I've got all the bolts off, and a bit of 'play', but nothing quite wants to give way. Also, was does the T23 code mean? And does anyone want the welded diff from it?
  9. What's this about the Wirral? I live in Bebington.
