  1. Just looked at them . They have a cool looking tread pattern as well. Wish I had seen them sooner, I struggled to find the right size for mine , I could not find a wide 15in in a 35/40 profile to keep the rolling radius the same. 15in used to be a really popular size .
  2. Are they road tyres. I found it hard to get tyres in that size. People told me not to put anything smaller than 225 on a 9in rim . But they went on really easy and still cover the wheel rim , I think a 215 would have looked ok as well. It depends on what make of tyre you use as well ,some stretch a lot easier than others . The Toyo's have a really soft side wall.
  3. I go to these meets, I live near the Preston area , they are a great bunch of guy's .
  4. They are 225 /50/15 Toyo's They fit really well and went on with no bother. I was going to fit 215/45/15 which would have kept the rear a little lower but I have got used to the way it look's now .
  5. It was at Santa Pod in May this year, and yep it IS a Capri.
  6. A few pictures of my new wheels ,I used to have 7x13 and 9x13 revolutions. I have swapped them for 7x15 and 9x15 compomotive MLs.
  7. I like this shot of mine.

What am I doing wrong? I've replied to PM's yet they are currently sitting in my "OUTBOX" as opposed to my "SENTBOX", have I done something wrong? I've not had this before when I've returned PM's. Manny

  17. Can't decide, but these are Ok.
  18. Ha! Some interesting questions! The screen has had 3inches taken off it - a local glass merchant did it after just one attempt - after which I had to radius the corners and finish the rest off (with a band-sander of all things!!). The roof HAS been chopped, I cut the front pillars, raked them backwards and inwards, the B-posts had 2 inch taken out and the rear quarters had a "v" taken out behind the side windows and also split down the middle. The door frames were cut and re-shaped. The whole idea was to keep the basic Capri shape but it did prove a bit difficult especially with the fact that it had a tailgate, which also had to be split. All this allowed me to chop it without having to quarter the roof. I understand why it looks like I may have just "raked" the roof, I sometimes look at it and wish I had maybe put a bit more thought into it and tried a bit harder to get round the tailgate/hinge problem. As for the spoiler - it started out as a very rough turbo-tail copy that I cut up and extended and moulded it all into one piece. (The gas-rams DID prove a bit weak though!). Here's a pic of it next to my other one, which, incidently, also had the suspension lowered by 2 inches.
  19. Heres a couple more pics (side view etc) of the car when it was originally done. The bumpers have since been removed and the spoiler has been replaced. Theres been a few more modifications done since, but I thought I'd post these for now. What are your thoughts??
