  1. www.spalusa.com this is the tank site, but there is uk distributors.
  2. sorry, my fat fingers stoped working for a while. The spal fans moved 1900cfm
  3. I have been doing some digging around on the leccy fan front. I have allways had cooling issues with the chevy. Originaly i had a kenlow big ass 16" single fan that turned out to be incapable of keeping the V8 cool in traffic. With the fan running the temp would rapidly climb to over 120 degrees. Binned that one and chucked in as a tempoary measure. a twin fan set up off a cosworth. Again these still struggled to keep it cool in traffic. After a bit of digging i found out that both the kenlow single and the twin cosworth fans only moved 1800cfm of air I have now found a company call SPAL. they do fans, rad and fan combos everything to keep a motor cool. I now looking at a rad and fan combo with shroud that has twin 13" fans that pull a shocking 1600cfm each Along with the state of the art electronic fan controller, i have worked out that this combo is well capable of cooling a 500bhp v8 in 80 degree air temp to a cool 90 degrees water temp... Better still i have found a company in america that can supply me with the whole kit for half the price this robbing Bstard country can. And that includes shipping. My order will be going in shortly.....
  4. looks like i will not be there after all....
  5. I may partake in a couple of rounds . Will have the MK1 and the mk 3 again
  6. Its was good to see so many osf in one place. There were some superb examples to enjoy. The down side for me was the amount of plastic about. (I know.. Ford Fair is like this) However i havent done this show for a few years and decided to give it onother go. Unfortunatly plastic and chrome brake disks are still the highlight of the show. My son and i loved the osf on the track. (Running him in gently, He`s only 9 months old.) He watched the Escorts and Capris flying round the track but when the Lotus's turned out, he'd turn round and eye up someone walking past. I dont think i will be attending this show next year, The contant drone of tortured speakers and seeing 20+ Focus's on one stand that were the same colour with the same wheels parked exacly 22 inches apart has been firmly imprinted in to me for life. I will definatly be sticking to Classic Ford. Keep our osf on the road, not wrapped in cotton wool.
  7. As always, The Beer calls. Glyn.. Which one will you be taking??
  8. im pretty sure they are the same as the capri shifter. The consoles are different but the mecanisim should be the same. Give Phil at Capri care a call, he should be able to help. 01908 365560.
