  1. I was always told never to cut springs. Its a safety issue. buying the correct fitment, would as a few have already mentioned give piece of mind especially if you carry your family. Never compromise with your family's safety
  2. it was all a con............ thatcher destroyed the coal industry simply to destroy the unions that threatened her rule...... and the miners suffered.......... most mines made a profit but were deliberately over spent to appear to make a loss to justify its closure, as whats been already said. they deliberatlely over spent on new machinery to show colliery making a loss, many required new equipment for years and never got it, all of a sudden they had new workshops, new weigh bridges new machinery and spare machinery lined up in the yards, items they neither needed or would ever use I live right next door to the former NCB headquarters at TONDU in south wales and know many who worked there. and the same story was there, they fitted out a brand new purpose built workshop there costing over £1,000,000 to build and kit out. spent a fortune on the laboratory for testing coal samples and within 6months it was closed and demolished within a short space of time, nothing ever replaced it........... One particular colliery ive researched closed in the mid eighties, reason was uneconomical,(it had just been refitted with new equipment) when that colliery closed it had just been surveyed and had coal reserves for another 125 years of mining. Thatcher was responsible for the destruction of our independance, if we ever (hope it never comes) have another war in this country we will fall as nearly everything is imported and we have lost valuable skills A lot of people i know are now reverting back to coal heating, one of my firends has just spent £3500 having gas removed and chimney repaired and fitted coal heating........................ just my opinion dont take it personal anybody.................

  9. MK2 CORTINA white and blue and i have put on a bid. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/mk2-cortina-2-doo ... dZViewItem any info would be greatful or threads about this vehicle
  10. do you mean theres a system where all bidders with -0 feedback can be automatically blocked prior to bidding? does not seem to really stop new bidders with a zero rating though, or am i wrong if you mean to manually block them you need to know who they are, too late for me but anybody selling could block the name TOSSSERS, i'd recommend it
  11. the user name is independant of paypal and he has no link between paypal and ebay, believe me if i could get a real address i'd happily go to prison for murder, the way i feel at the moment. his first name was made up also and that was similar but from swansea
  12. my sentiments exactly, and i dont think ebay does anywhere near enough to prevent this or at least reduce it, even when you complain you just end up with a few automated replies from them, still trying to get the original negative feedback removed now i will soon have two to try and get rid of, ebay only seems to be interested in your cash and thats it all i can suggest is anybody selling beware and take note of zero bidder, i know some are genuine but theres alway a chance especially if you have a buy it now.
  13. to put you in the picture, a few weeks ago itried selling my mk5 cortina on ebay, it sold for £930 to a zero feedback bidder, you can view the feedback of the guy using community on ebay site (WORTH A LOOK I PROMISE YOU). bloke had no intention of continuing the auction and left abusive emails and negative feedback aswell as knackering up my dispute causing my to pay nearly £30 in fees THIS ALSO serves as a warning to others, "AC-BUYER" was the original timewaster who has since been struck off, had a lot of problems and i had the brunt of it. well i put my car back on ebay yesterday evening for a buy it now of £600. ac-buyer is now blocked, however the winning bidder whos user name is appropriately TOSSSERS, has clicked on the buy it now after i specified no bidders with under five feedback. quess who it was!!!!!!!!!!!! yes your spot on, he sabotaged it again, and so far, good ole ebay has done sod all about it, but i trying a different method this time i have asked ebay to completely remove the listing from ebay meaning that no feedback can be left and i am not responding to messages. and guess what he put as his address, i think ebay should have a better system for new members signing up like you have no option but to give card details. here was his address. time waster i hate old cars scrap it tinker lol, Lancashire ln458hk United Kingdom (01657) 343589
