i tried that, they were very unhelpfull, seems they dont want to give you the info for you to DIY em and just kept sayin to me "oh well we can sort that for you for X amount" i have done a fair bit of research into is and its best to go for 750cc carbs or above GSXRs are popular as are R1s but tbh they are all pretty much the same i have got some GPZ 1000 RX carbs, 36mm chokes, same as twin 40's the jets on any carbs you get will need to be either replaced or re-drilled, 1.8mm i have been told is right for a tuned pinto you also need a bike throttle cable and a choke cable, i have been told that bike carbs wont start without a choke?

tbh dave i would buy some and do it properly, for peace of mind more than anything they may have gone through an MOT ok, but then the MOT man may not have noticed them choped springs may be "safe enough" but i would think that with it being a daily car and havin your family in it "safe enough" wouldn't be "enough" plus proper lowerin springs will give a better ride too
