  1. Here are some pics of my mk2 and a friends mk1. Mines been off the road for a couple of months while I changed the front springs, flywheel and a few other bits and bobs. The mk1 is a 1300e and is one of the cleanest and most original mk1's I've seen for a very long time.
  2. I have a 2dr mk2 pop, modified with 1700 x-flow,285 cam, lowered and uprated, polished rs alloys, front and rear mex spoilers, rolltop rs interior etc, all declared. I am with AON and I am currently paying £175. The policy is unlimited mileage and guaranteed value based on the car being garaged overnight. Hope this helps Jason
  3. Good old 4 spoke rs alloys polished up
  4. Hi all, I am going for 7 X 13 miniltes but I'm not sure what tyres to fit. Can I run with 185/70/13 on 7 X 13 rims without having the rear arches rolled? I would like to keep the rolling circumference similar to what I have now (185/60/13) to keep speed/revs the same but don't want to roll the arches. Any help/advice would be much appreciated

  13. Deffo recommend removing the struts if you want a proper job doing. You could then get a proper look at the pan and supports to see if these are solid. Once the repairs are done you could waxoyl/paint underneath (pans and support area) so repairs will be in good order and last a lot longer. You could also refurb the struts while they are off - just an idea. Depends how far you want to go. You could go on forever so its up to you how far you want to go!
  14. Thats the dogs mate - nice one fella!
