It's crazy what turns up in the metal merchants yards, seen loads of old cars, especially things like the old beetles and campers, that I know would go for silly money on ebay but people just weigh em in, proboblt the thicko pikeys mostly to blame

They come off a piece of piss mate, I find with them, if the first socket rounds it off it's usually cos they got a soft sh*tty casing around them, bang the next size down (usually changing to imperial/af/ww sometimes helps) and bang it on like your demented and it will come off no probs, then spend 1/2 hour trying to remove said bolt from socket in vice And if all that fails, the welded bar or big nut trick will never fail

No hope i'm afraid My last workshop had no power, so I bought a 2.8kva petrol genny, used to use it for running strip lights and drill/ grinder etc, also got a sealey mini mig thing that i bought years ago, only a baby welder, not even fitted with proper welding torch, would fire the welder , all the strip lights would go out, but would not penetrate any metal wotsoever, just sort of dripped on in a solder way, to run a welder you will need a big kva genny, and as I found out when looking big kva means big ££

Me and my mate made mine, well I say 'we' as in he made it and i re-made it. He was supposed to be top welder boy, done it for years in work, can't get better welds than his so I thought well at least if he does it, will be strong and tidy welds yeah right, after car been on spit for a few hours welds were popping off left right and centre Needles to say car came back of and I re-done all welds with mig on high to get proper penetration, had half a dozen scorts on there now, some staying on for long times all with no problems Well handy bit of kit, more than worth the time to make

Even though I voted a gazillion megatonnes They are gonne wigh in at 30-40 kilos mate, I have sent a fair amount of stuff and I would say that would be about right, let us know when you do finally weigh them, we can have a competition see who's closetst

I think there should be some criterea(sp) for entry A-have the means to support themselves financially for at least 12 months and are given a 12 month visa with a review by a non pansy wansy pc person, or an mp vote hunting someone like an accountant who just looks at facts and figures without even having to meet the people, then there can be no dicrimination (that fookin word ) can there. or B- entring already with a contract of employment or finincial sponsorship from a british citizen, and none of this 2 week here and there picking fruit a proper minimum 12 month employment contract other wise after 2 weeks of work surprise suprise they will be claiming a house and dole And if you don't like it GET THE FOOK HOME!!!!!!! if home was so great then why the fook are you here in the first place!!!! Mate it is usually the foreigners who fook you about on ebay, not saying there aint our home grown knobs aswell, just seems that on big things like cars its always the foreign idiots who bid in last few mins, and then phone you and can spkeak half a dozen words of english and then never turn up arrrrrghhhhh! had this with 3 cars on ebay!!!!! Then the fookin knobs who win your stuff by bidding in last few mins, then ignore emails for a few weeks then have the cheek to ask you for another week until they get paid!!!! I mean WTF?????? If i have no money i don't bid on anything, common fookin sense!!!!! One of my best mates had the worse one, he was selling his scoobyy on there, blokey won it for £2500, not wanting to appear racist but bloke was second generation pakistani with full on chavness, he turned up in a smokey old cavalier, pissed with 4 of his 'homies' Now my mate is exactly the opposite to me 5ft tall and 2 stone wet with bricks in his pocket, he truly is one of the nicest and willing to help anyone sort of bloke you could imagine, nothing is to much trouble and he has helped me out no end of times, and this 'person' obviousley came down with a grand in his pocket expecting to intimidate him into selling it for that! went for a test drive and was shouting and screaming at him, and threatinig to do him over because he had driven 200 miles to look at this bag of crap (bearing in mind the fookin nonce had'nt even looked at it yet, jumped straight in for a test drive!) and all this went on for about 30 mins, with him refusing to give the keys back and really agressive behaviour, there was 4 of them and my 2 mates there, this knob must of thought easy pickings then after they finally realised he was standing up to them and the grand he probobly robbed of his nan was'nt going to get the car he hurled his last abuse and wheelpun of in the might chavalier . My mate phoned me then after the adrenilin had stopped and was exremly shaken by the whole thing, understandably, I went straight up to see him and while i was there the idiot phoned back, where he had been jumping around in the car like a loony his phone had fallen out of his pocket in the car and was coming back to get it, This is a chance for payback i thought, I told him point out wich one it was and i'll smash the car windows with his head and if his mates are stupid enough to get involved after seeing what was gonna happen to him, chuck me my bat from the boot of the car! I was sooo pissed of with this pr*ck, what right did he have to intimidate my mate in that way , I HATE BULLIES WITH A PASSION! If there is 2 people who have a problem and they both want to solve it with fists then fair play, thats been the way forever, but as soon as something is one sided then thats not on BIG BIG TIME! But anyway he did'nt want it as he was selling it from his parents house and did'nt want any comeback on them, understandable, but i hung around anyway to make sure there was no repeat, they drove back had a quick stare and fooked straight back off, Just as well really as i was so angry about what they had done to him i would of gone to town on them! Just goes to show you really don't know who you are dealing with on ebay and inviting around to your house! Always make sure someone else is there with you, I usually get people to meet me down my garage now, A- thats my home turf and i know where the defensive tools are and B- I'd rather someone smash up my garage doors than have to worry about the house. Saying all that though 99% of the folk i have met in person have been really nice people and have spent many an hour with them chewing the hay, usually about cars and the like but the 1% are the ones you need to be careful of!!!

I been on vodaphone for 10 years, with a 6 month interlude onto three when it 1st come out, and i must say it's been the best by far, good strong signal in 99% of places. One thing i have noticed lately though is it keeps losing signal and going to emergency calls only a lot, I put this down to the new phone i bought a few weeks back playing up, but maybe it is the network haveing problems

Do the old fake ticket and parking clamp scam, big yellow sticker with illegally parked vehicle on it, give them 24 hours and load em onto back of a truck Dodgy scrap man round my way got hundreds of cars over the years with that one
