saw a fair few of them running today at rally yorkshire up at pickering cant beat a flying mk2 RS1800

anyone go today i went and watched stage 5 at pickering showground bit of a short easy stage but with a 7mth old daughter in a buggy it was just easier to watch that rather than go into the forests. good day with the final round of the british historic and the final round of the brc, a great day with pretty good weather. got a few pics on my phone of some airbourne mk2's but my bluetooth dongle wont work with vista

i went a few years ago wasnt officially in the show but the marshall guy pointed me in the direction and i ended up parked with the show cars was in my mk2 1600 sport

i rememer having a mk1 fiesta 1.1e e standing for economy how more economical do you wanna get than a 1.1 if i remember correctly it used to have a red light on the dash to tell you if you were driving economcally or not and the gear nob read, R,1,2,3,E. did ford ever release any other odd models along these lines?

all i need to do now is find a mk2 thats been stored for yrs with an owner who doesnt realise todays prices and i'm sorted lol old boys on farms that just hoard cars i know just the place he must have 9 tractors in the field with god knows how many cars scattered around his land might have to enquire see if theres any osf's about i know he had a mk3 escort but judging by the state of it the previous owner was fred flinstone as the bush was inside the car and not outside lol

i'm guessing you've done em on a cnc lathe then drilled em on a machining centre? nice job buddy
