  7. 3.1 v6 essex, steel timing gear, 40 dfi carb, blower scoop, custom made prop, custom made exhaust, floorshifter, mooneyes guages and tacho, floor mounted handbrake, lowered 2 inches

  11. this is correct, im an mot tester and he really should get up to date, problem is classics can become a grey area, if you know them your ok, if not as so many testers dont they become a bit well lets say hitlerish, if hes passed it now jason, take it back next year, if he fails it, appeal....................
  12. mounts welded on and gusseted, old mounts removed and plated, just need to clean them up and start on tidying the engine bay
  13. cheers guys template made, mount faces made and welded one side of old mount ready to be cut off and plated other side cut, gives more room for the exhaust manifolds, ready to be plated mounts measured and backing welded on, they will be drilled then attached to the chassis and gusseted
  14. looks really good mate, im currently making some engine mounts so id you want the templates when im finished let me know, also any help give me a shout test fitted the lights, i like em..............

  16. cowl scoop laid on to check dimensions v8 rear bowl sump now welded into a front bowl sump
  17. usual really, ive bought a warmed 2.8 for it, hone made exhaust, 5 speed, lowered uprated, possibly 17's full black rims, no spoilers, 50 shot of nitrous, plates being made as we speak, I'm fabricating a savage-esque bonnet for it but it will be a functioning ram air one with tracks underneath going to the air filter ;D, colour I'm thinking white at the mo with satin black bonnet stripes following the shape of the bonnet scoop, black interior
  18. pick this up in three weeks, new project for next years shows, hopefully will be a bit special but subtle
  19. looking good gaz, i like the wide steels, just fitting 15'' sossy rims on the mk5
  20. quaife quickshift then cut the shifter and weld it onto the stub
  21. removed rear door handles, these will be welded up and smoothed finally got the bloody column change mechanism out mechanism fits into steering box, circled donor car arriving monday and a guy off of the nsra forum has kindly provided me with pictures and info on fitting the v8 into the mk3 zeph so thanks to gary denham
