  1. A google search showed a few different versions of this gauge, some without the green & blue lights, none with the smiths logo. I'm assuming its Mk1 but does anyone know the year & model?
  2. Hi, I just wanted to post this incase the Capri's owner is a member on here; a friend of my partners posted this comment on Retards Club at the end of May "What a day, nearly had a head on with a van on way to work following a nutty ford Capri driver overtaking me on a blind spot on outwood lane this morning. Would like to thank van driver, he was great. Checked boys and I were OK, then he and his work mates put back the tree the dark blue Ford Capri had hit. The Ford Capri did not check to see if any of us were OK, for all he knows we could be dead he just reversed off the tree and went like a rate of knots down the Rd. He left part of his car the drivers side bumper end not going to be an easy fix on such an old car. Just pleased, me the kids and the van driver and his mates are OK, though my neck is starting to stiffen up." I have checked the stolen section because I cannot believe anyone would drive their own Capri as if it were still 1985!! I mean even the most basic spec rustbucket commands 4 figures nowadays; but nothing matches. So if you ever read this Capri man, There were 8 & 10 yr old boys in that car & you're DAMN lucky that it was only your car that paid the price for your moronic behaviour; you bring shame on the whole classic Ford scene!
  3. A few pix of my Mk5 2.0 S-pack estate; owned for 10years this week. All original except the slot mags (I do have the 5 original dartboard wheels with 80s Goodyear Grand Prix S tyres on, & chrome embelishers.) Has fishnet Recaros & RS2000 gearknob as part of the S-pack. Britax sliding canvas roof fitted very early in its life.
  4. That Raleigh Burner is a little close for my liking. gave me flashbacks of my BMX falling against my dads Mk2 granny. I was not popular. Stunning motor (and bike)
  5. Always nice to see another Mk5 in safe hands. Any progress yet?
  6. Hi, my uncles a mechanic and recently a customer brought in his Mk2 B-reg Fiesta 1.1 Popular Plus and it turns out the brake servo's knackerered. local scrappy's, ebay, euro car parts and Fords all turned up nothing so I thought i'd help him out by seeing if anyone on here could help. If anyone has one they'd like to sell please let me know. Also, Were the servo's the same right from the Pop plus up to the XR2? and did the Mk3 use the same servo or did they change it? all help appreciated. Cheers
  7. You might want to try Rother council, they have a field at Glyne Gap which is about 2 miles along the seafront from Rock a Nore towards Bexhill. It is hardly used except for 1 circus and about 6 boot sales a year.
  8. Truly Gutted, Had a mate coming over Friday to assist in a polish of the Cortina and currently rushing to get my Raleigh burner back together in time to bring along too. Ashamed to live in Hastings right now, but please don't give up on the place.
