  5. all very tasty, but this is more my cuppa tea my mark1 cappa looked like this by the end of saturday, but it wasnt the tyres smoking
  6. i never thought to mention it but ive had the pickey bastards round by me too they reversed up my drive way in a flat back transit, one in the drivers seat and another on the back so he could look over the fences if i catch um they wont walk for months
  7. Im lookin to buy some roller rockers from the states. Cant find the size of the stud the rocker sits on and i cant order without it. Its dark and cold outside now so im not rev`ed up for taking the rocker covers off lol Cheers

  14. i think theres a bit more space on the mk1 capri it looked like i might get upto 2" also where the inner arch comes down theres quite a pronounced tapper so if the arch went straight up where it is now there could be another 1" clearance
  15. i will be needing to tub my rear archs this winter there in good nick so i was going to cut down the centre of the inner arch and basically just move it inwards thanks clarke, ive hyjacked your picture, i hope its not copyrighted this is the strongest way i could think of doing it as the inner arch is still attached to the outer arch there shouldnt be any flex?
  16. im just chuff`ed as i didnt even notice when i bought as it seems its a Corsair V4 bellhousing it shouldnt be too difficult to find also means i need to find a Corsair clutch master cylinder, and whatever else is required to fit it in the cappa
  17. i think it would be wrong for anything but an essex to be under that bonnet no messing around with 4pots, V6 sounds 1000x better
  18. im not sure, cuz im kinda thinking of using it as is and converting the pedal end just finished buyin nos parts, the system is now capable of 400lbs tq so a pretty dam hefty clutch is going to be needed
  19. so what your saying is the inner arch is rotton where it meets the inside of the outer wing? you wanna use a piece of flat plate rolled to fit the profile of the existing arch, and weld it to the top of the old inner arch and directly to the inside of the body panel?

  23. as per the title i need to get the v6 crank, rods, pistons and flywheel balanced the flywheel will also need lightening at the same time im in cannock, but anywhere that does a good job and is within the midlands or staffordshire area cheers
  24. so it is an essex bellhousing it is 23spline if i havent said that already what do i need to convert the stock capri cable pedal to hydraulic?
