Hi there all I`ve put two cars on here now and i thought i`d put my (daily) car which does all the work. eg the kids taxi,helps keep my other cars on the road and the only car which my mrs will drive if hers is in the garage!!! I bought it off a chap who had the car for the first 32 years of its life,which makes me the second owner. Not the prettist car in the world,but reliable and for the money i paid for it i can`t complain. Just 1 of 16 J platers on the road according to DVLA and still not gone around the clock. Anyone gettin` into old motors, a MK3 Cortina would be a good start (even tho i`ve had 70 ish previous cars),as they got the retro look and a modern(ish) drive to them! greenfordpop AKA Barry

Yep! Thats the blue ridge runners show at BIBIC. The pic`s of the Konsul were taken in 2006. I remember seeing a flamed Granny at Cricket St Thomas show last year. Is anyone doin` the two blue ridge runners shows this year? greenford pop AKA Barry

Yep, thats right! I first saw Andy and his Konsul at BIBIC car show in 2006 and i said to him then if he ever wanted to sale it give me a ring.That was Sunday and by Tuesday he rang up and asked if i was still interested in the car.Went to Hereford on the following Sunday where i saw his MK1 Consul (can`t wait to see that on the road), but we couldn`t agree on a price. I think it was the next weekend he sold it to Colin (kustomcol) in Stevenage who`s also in UK Kustoms and i bought it from him Feb last year!

Bought this motor almost a year ago now.Not done anything to apart from put some miles on the clock,but the car is waiting for a new set of wheels and a front bumper.Which will be done by March/April. It runs a Pinto with all caprl running gear.One day will change the back axle (to a MK1 Cortina) so i can run my 15" 7J banded steels. But in the mean time need to sort out the hand brake (has anyone got a pic of a Capri Mk3 rear axle, so i can see how the hand brake is set up, pretty please!!) One day i will paint it black, still finding it a novety having a car with paint and my missis likes it. laters greenfordpop aka Barry

Hi there, Can anyone help me! Has anyone got a pic of a Capri back axle (atlas),as i want to see how the hand brake cable is set up. I`ve a got MK2 Consul with a Capri MK3 1.6 rear axle and whatever brake cable is on there it ain`t doin` its job Cheers Barry AKA greenfordpop
