  1. Iv just put a tenner in my van, pump is 101p a litre here now for diesel. I have to use my van for work as i have a lot of tools that need transporting. The two things im doing this winter is doing my trailer test and putting a two tank system in my van to run on wvo. Not because i care about the enviroment ( well i kinda do ) but mainly to save me huge amounts of money. I sometimes cover over 1000 miles in my van at weekends at automotive events up and down the uk.
  2. Im loving this place even more, first i see an article in classic ford where his mk1 has a welded diff now people are asking how to drift, on most other forums you normally get abuse thrown at you. With an open diff holding the drift is a lot harder, i ran a welded diff on my ex daily no problem. You realy will struggle to hold a drift in the dry with an open diff, in the wet it makes it alot easier specially with like 60psi in the tyres. But yeah a decent shimmed up lsd or a plain old simple welder is the ansewr if your realy into drifting.
  3. First off thanks for sorting my account out, cant remember the username on ts now but thanks. Hi to all, not much to know about me realy, iv always had a love for mk 2 escorts and now been driving for a year decided to take the plunge. Im still on the lookout for a solid cheap 4 door. Although i doubt them 2 words go together too well. My plan for the car will be a tiny restoration/tify up if it needs it then hopefully a more powerful engine, pinto probably and use it for drifting aswel as a daily driver. From recent articles i have been reading it seems a few cars on here have the main ingredient already. I will be asking a lot of questions soon im sure.
