Bomber they look like bright blue, but when the sun gets on them they sparkle & glow a bit .Its the same stuff that goes on police cars so next time you see one in the sun you'll know what i mean!! if your interested send a pic of your car & i'll do sum ideas Djstaffy

I do graphics for a living & I could make you one but have you got any old invoices from the dealer so i can see what colours , font, logo etc they used , just scan & send me the pic if not send me garage details & I'll come up with a couple of ideas Djstaffy

Thanks for all your comments , i do like it as is but want to sell it soon to fund my mk1 cortina v8 habit i've now got!! was thinking to paint it would make it easier to sell + more ££ but may try selling as is then new owner can do what they want with it. djstaffy

here's a couple of mk2's that i did the graphics on the rally replica i copied from a model car & designed all the logos on my pc i do lots of scooby replicas but the essys are me faves djstaffy

I do vinyl graphics for a living, what you want to do as said above is take a plastic spray bottle fill it with water & add 1 -2 drops fairy liquid # then when you position the stripes , freehand or measured ,when you peel the backing paper off just spray a fine mist onto the adhesive side of the vinyl the squeegee down to get all the air bubbles out , leave for a minute or two then wet the application tape on top, rub in the liquid & the tape should come off nice & easy when finished gently go over all the vinyl with a hot air gun on warm setting to seal it all off, if you get any bubbles just pop them with a pin djstaffy got some pics of essys i've done will post them later

I run a 59 prefect as my daily driver , its got 1500 pre xflow gt engine, lowered , got the rat look , gets a bit light above 90 mind! motor will go straight in yours with 107e crossmember djstaffy

I use my 59 prefect everyday doing 30miles a day commute, my other cars are a mk1 cortina & 61 classic they will be everyday cars when back on the road. djstaffy
