  2. Hi. Anyone know where I can get a scale model of a 1953 black 100e Anglia? It's the earlier model 100e that was made with the 3 bar grill and not the mesh grill which followed in later models. Ta Burt
  3. Booked my accomodation.. £20 from Argos and it's waterproof too, but the real test will come when Shifty Johnson crawls out of the club after having a skinful, nicks my pork chops and pisses over it. Your turn to get me a beer this year spikey one.
  4. There's a guy standing there wearing a bowler hat !
  5. Jamaican ginger cake what a legend i love that stuff. Pollishing biscuits ?? Is that colgate rhyming slang
  6. Yep it was a top show. Can't believe how lucky we were with the weather - the burger was nice too
  7. I too agree. It was uneccessary and way ott, although from a safety point of view parents and adults really do need to be accountable. Whilst one of the vehicles was performing a very powerful smokey burnout in the car park a lady and her child walked...well strolled in front of the car
  8. Do the wheelspins/burnouts happen every year?
  9. ayaOAUkczFs Not good !!
  10. Lovely pics. Nice to meet up with ya Col. Yeah me and scott walked around the show and at around midday we went over to have a gander at Darrens old motor. His is the orange MK1 Escort with the union jack painted on it. Anyway i spoke to the new owner and said 'is that a wrap on the bonnet?', he said 'nah mate it's air brushed on'. I sh*t you not i then said, 'cor imagine if that gets damaged your in a whole world of pain'.....poor f*cking bloke...as the cars were leaving later in the afternoon there were people pulling wheelspins out of the show and he pulled a wheelspin flew up the road and the bonnet wasn't clipped down . The bonnet flew up in the air landing on the ground with a smash. It was painful to see and not one person in the whole of the crowd laughed... Luckily though the bonnet flew up in the air and appeared to have cleared the Escort landing on the floor behind it, also it didn't hit anyone and finally I think he's really lucky this didn't happen on a main road or motorway while he was coming home. I hope the damage aint too bad mate i think the whole crowd, myself included really felt for ya.
  11. You're going col ain't ya. What does ykt mean at the bottom of ya post ? Trying to see if Petes going who had the 100e petespop
  12. Who has had their car lovingly taken care of at Maximum Application Vehicle down at Colgate and is going this Sunday? I think the guys down there wanted the cars that they've worked on to turn up.. Well I'm going in the Capri 2.8i (the restoration of it is on this forum under finished projects)...Col...Pete are you going? Pletny of suntan cream this time - unlike Santa Pod this year when i ended up looking like the singing detective... rrroooaaasssting
  13. A cake. 100%
