  1. After months of deliberating it, the old girl needs a good home to go to. Very reluctant sale I have it on eBay and am looking at people viewing this weekend. Stored in hayes, Kent and looking for sensible offers. Cheers, Stu http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301030609250?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

  10. Quality mate, loved the first pics of it and like wot you've done with it now, its all about havin a bit of fun with ure old ford, YKT!! The way the car looks now reminds me of something that would be racing 'Herbie' in the old movies?! Love it!
  11. Cheers for comments guys. Never thought about the setting of the street but i guess ure right!?! As for the paint on my the Mk1 bonnet, my mate who's a sprayer done it, quite simple i think, just done the bonnet black and then dusted the edge with green til it looked right. He done the same on my wifes Mk3 fiesta, but her bonnet was BRIGHT PINK with a white faded edge!?! Owned the Mk1 must be about about 4-5years ago now, had that for about a year or so and then got the Wagon, god that car was known where ever i went, did anyone ever see it at Ace?

Here it is proped on my wifes 16's back when she was a girl racer!! And this is how it looked before i sold it. Good memories!!

  18. Finally thored my engine out today and got the car back together. Decided to go for a little spin on my own, had a great little drive with the car going great but about half way through the burn an oldskool American Trans-Am pulled out behind me and began to play, so i thought the round ones to it i might as well play along too! It must have looked so funny, a little Pop burnin along with a massive american hot rod in close pursuit?! He followed me all the way back to my folks and we ended up havin a good chat and a look at each others motors, which got me thinkin, whats the funniest thing thats joined in with you when you're out on a burn?
  19. The rain is running off some highly buffed motors there! Good pics, looks like a good meet, where does it take place?

Lads, sorry its taken me so long to put up a message of appreciation, been in Cornwall on the unofficial honeymoon and have got internet probs at home so this has been the first chance for me to see the pics/vids! I MUST say a HUGE HUGE thanks to all who turned up on the day, six cars was the perfect number and it absolutely made the day for me! My mates, none of which are old forders, loved it aswell!
